I would like to thank you both for some excellent informations that I will be passing on to my son, who now at 18, is begging to search for knowledge, and also is interested in Hip Hop. It is good to know that there is some good information he can look into, something that this generation can understand. This is especially good, since his only reference point is the gold and black book put out by york, which I've told him he can read for information, however to be aware that there is much more information out there. Now at least, I can point him in the way of some good information, and I've been sending him the links that are posted here by the both of you and others on this board that leads to some excellent and indept knowledge, that would help him along his path in life. Hiphop as well as all cultural phenomons are extentions of the Ancient Egyptian Culture, But to say you identify with Ancient Egyptian Culture would not be right and exact. If you did a comparison with the way you do things and the way the ancient egyptians did things, you would find many differences. For example: Do you wear pants? Do you wear wool? Do you speak their language or just english. Do you live in an adobe Clay Home? Will you be burried in a Pryamid? It really doesnt matter, Its all Our Culture. Just like METU NTR , I know people today who still cant read the writing on the walls. Shoot if a black man would have started the ALL Black Sports leagues, there'd be no NFL, NBA ect, but we sell each other out too soooo. Thats how it is nowadays in most areas of Entertainment (especially black) Look at poor Beyonce, the older and more "Independant" she became the less clothes and more cuchi poppin she's been doing. On KRS ONE's album I Got Next, he proclaims that "Hip-Hop could build it's own secret society" For years I tried to figure this out. How can Hip-Hop have an order similar to that of the Rosicrucians and Freemasons? According to the information that I knew then of Secret Societies, they were just that, a society of men who kept ancient esoteric information to themselves. How is it possible for "something" that was born in the 1970's in the South Bronx between 2 project buildings be able to represent the mysteries of the ancients? I never thought it was possible until I started studying the esoteric system of ancient cultures. Since All Things are actually One, The Universal Law of Correspondence and Vibration teaches for everything that vibrates on this physical plane has a spiritual counter part which does the same. This is why the Secret Societies were able to hide profound universal information in the form of what may appear to be just pain symbols. According to Manly P Hall. Why then is Limpbizkit mostly considered a Metal Punk or Rap / Rock group and not a Hip Hop group?   LimpBizkit Now Ask Your Self Why is Outkast, who are considered a Hip Hop group putting out songs like Hay Ya!? Is Hay Ya! also Hip Hop music? Neither the song or the album cover contain any of the 4 basic elements of Hip-Hop. Why is Outkast considered just Rap and Hip Hop and not also a Rock group  Now Ask Your Self When Allen Iverson when to jail for getting into a fight with his wife, why did the conservative radio host try to blame Hip hop for this actions? What does domestic violence have to do with Hip-hop? I'm pretty sure when Tommy Lee beat Pamela Anderson, Hip-hop was not the blame... but then again, Tommy Lee is fronting to be a rapper now.   Allen Iverson and Tommy Lee Just recently I went to www.DaveyD.com and read that Terriel R. Byrd, an assistant professor of religion at Palm Beach Atlantic University in West Palm Beach, Fla. blamed Hip-hop for what Janet Jackson did at the Super Bowl. "The antics of Justin Timberlake and Janet Jackson at the Super Bowl halftime on Jan. 26 are a prime example of how untrustworthy Hip-Hop entertainment is. On blatant display were the promoted misogyny of Hip-Hop culture, sexism, partial nudity, crude and suggestive language, and its ideals of conspicuous consumption.. NOW Ask your self How is Janet Jackson Hip Hop? She has been performing songs before Mr. Byrd even new what Hiphop was. Justin Timberlake is a Pop Singer. He's not considered a Hiphop artist. If anyone is to blame, BLAME VIACOM or DISNEY! I guess the infamous Madonna / Britney / Cristinas kiss on MTV is Hip-hop too right? Viacom own MTV and CBS. Or is NYPD Blue considered Hip-hop. The show comes on ABC prime time. Disney own ABC. The show is filled with curse words like "shit" and "asshole". Not to mention you see a naked mans ass on the show every week.  Is anything "filthy" on TV actually because of Hip-hop? Or is Hip-Hop just the scapegoat / sacrificial lamb?
