Gender of Angels

Lets look at it like this. Man was man a little lower than the angels. We are beings that have devolved from what we originally once were. We are in the process of evolution. As we evolve I see it necessary for us to become like angels since that is the next rank above human.

When the Elyon said "Let US make man in OUR image. Who is he talking to? Himself? worst yet, the trinity? Angels were very much a part of creation, they performed the deeds within the creation. they carried out many of the commands that Elyon gave. So when he gives the command "let US make man in OUR image" Well lets think for a second. God looks like angels. He appeared before Abram on his way to destroy Sodom and G'amorah. He was very much man looking as well as the 2 angels that accompanied him.

Now if I have witness of an angel saying that he is the brethren of man, what am I to derive from that? I don't argue with it. I acquiest to it. It just completes the puzzle.

Sure we will eventually judge angels, that being one stop on our evolution. But lets think for a second. Ishua came that he might make us Sons of God. Well angels are already titled Sons of God. They are entrusted with peoples, nations, countries, funcitons of god, even message delivery. Will we not be given the same responsibilities?

I'll leave this open for further discussion. It's just nice to finally have you take part in a discussion

We see that all that were given to bare record of the WORD ARE fellowservants and spiritually brothas.

Now in this passage some assume that we will be angels...

Matthew 22:29 Yahshua answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of Elohim.
30 For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of Elohim in heaven.

Being "as" angells and being angels are two different things but here he was showing that having a gender in the resurrection is pointless because we won't procreate.

Paul also prophecied that we..

1 Corinthians 6:3
Do you not know that we will judge angels? How much more the things of this life!

I don't mind. I think Courtney has to much class to play herself like that. She has been nothing but a lady here. She's from the Court lol thats what Courtney means. Upper class, regal and I think she carries herself like that from what I see.

Back to the subject. 1dell.. In Genesis 1 - when God is taking about creating the stars - do you think he's talking about angels?

Yes courty, because he made the stars and the sun in Genesis 1:1 when it says in the beginning God made the heavens and the earth. Heavens are composes of various levels of spheric beings be they planets, stars, moons and suns. Notice the greater light is NEVER named nor is the lesser light. If it was the moon and the sun, the words Shemesh and Y'reakh would appear but they do not.

Let me rephrase that because the word create isn't used. The angels weren't created they were appointed to govern the earth at that time. They were elected to positions to govern and police the new planet. Some were promoted to moor esteemed positions as in greater and lesser lights.

got it.. that's what i was thinking too about the greater and lesser lights.. i dont know why i never picked up on that before. I like to pray before i read the bible to ask for guidance to help me understand what i am reading.. it does help... I find myself picking up on things i never noticed before. this first go round i am trying not to get too too deep, I want to get a general idea, then the second go round take it a little deeper.

When I said the angels weren't created I mean they weren't created on that day.

As for the Greater light and lesser light. These are symbolic indeed of the sun and moon respectively.

But here is something that is interesting:

Ishua in scripture is called the Morning Star. Waht star do you see in the morning? The sun, right

Now, Hazel/Lucifer is called the SON of the Morning Star. Which means in hebrew speak the subordinate of the morning star. in other words the lesser light.

I'll leave that right there, wide open to stimulate further discussion

I forgot about METETRON. According to Jewish mysticism Enoch became an ArchAngel when he was taken up into Heaven. Dont know if thats in any of the Pseudopedigripha. Hope I spelled that right.

Yep its in there. He was raised to the highest title of Angel called META'TRON until he was dethroned in the heights. The many subordinate powers began to whisper metatron was equal with the supreme. All hell broke loose in heaven after that was announced and he was cast down as a result. Sounds like the story of lucifer if ya ask me!

This Metetron have anything to do with music? Then I would see Lucifer in this story.

I dont re-call. Its been yrs since I read the tablets of enoch. I will check for you when I get some time. But I do suspect there is a connection. The seraphs are the choir and the serpents hail from their order. So there is definitely some music involved.
