Twould do you some good to research this moor than just skimming the surface only to gather enough information to hold half a side in a debate. There is much moor information you are missing.

Here is the deal this version of which you speak is King James authorization of an english translation.

People were dying who translated the bible into english. The Roman catholics had a problem with any bible that wasn't in Latin (thats how they kept the people ingorant of the true meaning of scripture) If you couldn't read the book then only the priest could tell you what it was saying as well as manipulate the masses with it. Whenever someone would translate the book into english, they woudl lose their life. They were killed. So all King James did was authorize an english translation. There were other translations already in existance such as the wycliff bible. It was moor beneficial for King James to authorize a bible because of his wealth and credibility no one would dare come against his authority where other translations were basically considered underground/outlawed or bootleg.

King James doesn't play an important part in the credibility or discrediting of the bible. So brining him up is not even an accurate weapon. Seeing as how all he did was Made lawful an english translation that was already in existance.

To try and use King James against the christians makes absolutely no sense if you are a nuwaubian. Because thats like a Cloud calling a marshmellow white. How you gonna try and rag on a man who never claimed to clergy nor a priest nor was a leader of a church and all he did was saw to it that the english translation of the bible was made lawful. Yet you are sitting on top of a leader who is a known bi-sexual.

I agree that the mistake was not having full depth or enough study of scriptures, etc. in order to have discerned the falsehood of what a person teach. Or simply to observe that if the person does not do as they teach, then beware!!!!

I totally agree with you and I know where you are coming from. And no I haven't taken the test yet, but I will.

We all go through changes in life and we all HOPEFULLY will do things that we don't want to do. And Hopefully we learn from our mistakes. Good for you 1Dell to see a bigger picture. Now I can't talk for all that was there for whatever reason, however, when I joined,I sincerely believed we were on a mission to do things in a proper way - worship, knowledge, etc. I really thought that we were sacrificing (personal comfort, etc.) to live for and by each other. I thought we were working hard to make conditions better for our people, building a nation, securing the future for our children. It was NOT because of love for york, but doing for us as a people.

Many rough times were looked upon like it was only a "test", even rationalized with similitudes of living in a family, going through rough times, when there is no heat, no hot water and you have to make do, until you can do better. Surely most did not know that those hardship were created not because there was no funds to pay the bills, but they occur when funds are mismanaged, or not allowed to be allocated for such things, especially, during times when monies was spent on whatever else that was found 'necessary' at the time.

As far as living conditions, lets just say that people with "ghetto" mentality CAN and WILL tear down stuff, and unfortunately, we had a whole lot of people of that mentality there. So no matter what was done to upkeep and try to maintain, you have a great many living like slobs, not caring, nasty, etc. At times it felt like it just like fighting a loosing battle!

So yes, it was mainly a conviction of doing something "good", and hoping that we could accomplish our goals one day.
