Actually no bro, I am using the word Dr. York himself used. I was listening to one of his savior day tapes and he said "People say we're a cult...Yeah we're a cult....cult-ure" Then went on to play around with the word Culture. Rosicrucians are a cult, they do no harm, Hari krishnas are a cult, they do no harm. When you look up the ingredients of a cult, you will see that Nuwaubu is the perfect blend. I am only saying what york himself said We are not a cult, you are insulting the intelligents of 1,000 of nuwaubians to say we apart of something that causes harm. You know, some people, the majority of our people, are not ready for the truth, the whole truth. They weren't ready when the Honorable Elijah Mohammad with the Honorable Wallace Ford Mohammad started back there in the early 1900's. They couldn't take the whole truth then. They had to first learn and feel like human beings after being treated like low-class cattle for all those years. And even though we were a stronger people back then, that consistant,everyday dealth had to wear them down. So after seeing all those comic strip pictures of Black people over in Afrika- you know the ones, the ones with the big lips and wild and savage. I think the word used by Elijah (PBUH) was "uncivilized". Of course we know today that the people of Afrika "CIVILIZED" the whole world!!! And even today we have people of our own who still want to dominate somebody. They still think they are better than the woman who went through that 400 years of hell with them. Talking about brainwashing!!! Let's make some sense here. If you don't trust and hate the whites because they have allways and still do think they are better than you, therefore telling you a bunch of lies about yo'self - How am I suppose to trust MY MAN who thinks as Elijah (PBUH) puts it- women's minds are smaller than a man's, and she is definitely not equal to a man. Wow, 30 years down the drain and Nuwaubu hasn't been taught yet? I bet when THOSE books finally do come out they will make york a Millionaire all over again. It took 30 years for york to break a spell? I tell you what, If he is the master magician then spells should be no big thing. Like I told york from the beginning. Those other religious groups that have former christians as members didn't spend a lot of time trying to put down christianity or "break spells" All they did was come offering the BENEFITS of THEIR religion or organization and the christians saw how better it was than christianity and left it and never looked back. That could be why it's taking 30+ years for him to do something so simple. The problem is, york has done a HORRIBLE job at dispelling christianity. I have found numerous errors on EVERY PAGE of that "Paul the Deceiver" "scroll" as I do with everything else he puts out about christianity. But his bread and butter or fools who don't know the bible or christianity that well. He preys on the novice christian that can barely quote 5 scriptures out the bible verbatim. Fools who think "God helps those who help themselves" Is a verse in the bible. REAL Christians york couldn't begin to steal from the flock. Actually, it's 37 years of worthless information then, since the real truth was not told as of yet! You don't need to tear down someone else's house, in order for yours to look great. If you are such a master builder, then you would just go on ahead and build your magnificent structure, so it could stand for all to see. If this structure is as good as you say it is, then it would show, and people would flock to it, and stay if it is really so. There would be no need to attack another, when you can shine on your own true light. Also, there is no need to concentrate on york's personal life, had it not been so detrimental to the "mission". One can not have a "leader" that is so corrupt in morals, and expect people to just ignore it, and just take in all that you say. After all, we are not just talking about sexing your secreteries, or plain adultery, if one is married, or what you have in the bank or under your bed, but the issue here is MOLESTING YOUNG CHILDREN BOYS AND GIRLS, NOW COME ON... ...WHAT KINDA OF GOD WOULD DO SUCH A THING??? ...WHAT KINDA OF GOD DO YOU FOLLOW??? SURELY A PERVERSE AND VILE ONE! No amount of information will warrant a person ROBBING a CHILD of their INNOCENCE, and possibly CORRUPTING THEM FOR THE REST OF THEIR LIFE! 1dell - you know what? When you were breaking down the errors in that scroll on Paul - of all the Nuwaubians that would be on and off this board - I dont recall anyone debunking what you said.. Seems like at least one person would've been up in there showing how YOU were wrong and York was right. The fact is you WERE right about that scroll (and more I am sure) and EVERYONE knew it. The odds say if that scroll was full of trash - more of them probably were. I noticed a lot of the scrolls have all the same info in them - increasing the chances that even more were wrong as well. I agree also- many people that haven't read the Bible are easily fooled by York. The more I study the more easily I see his errors. True, Master9 even went so far as to email a slew of nuwaubiancentric yahoo groups and told them about this site. Many joined and no one said a thing. I guess it didn't reach York's beloved sons. Surely they would have come here and righted me.  Point blank. York isn't even impressive. What I am impressed with is his ability to deceive people with this information for as long as he did. What makes it so bad is that it APPEARS that york read the bible, but even then screwed that up. I mean anyone who could read a book and come away with as many errors as he has about that book. I be doggone if I could trust them to study any other information and be correct. Carelessness is a habit that permeates all other areas of a man's life. If he was that careless with his biblical scholastics, then whats that to say about the other stuff he read? 1dell - you know what? I peeped that game long time ago. I can used to work for a publishing company as a graphic designer and typesetter. The guy I worked for who owned the company employed the same strategy and was a millionaire by age 30. So when I read a few york books I just shook my head. I still to this day try and figure out what it is that keeps a yorkite hooked even when this man's personal life has been exposed to be a fraud.I mean the VERY SAME man who in many of his books would put down christian, islamic, jewish and other leaders down for their own personal foibles like greed, money issues, sexual promiscuity, child molestations, and other scandals. I mean I can remember him doing this in the beginning of the book "360 Questions to ask a christian" Talking about Jim Baker and putting him down for the scandal he was involved in. etc etc. And HE was saying that because this man had committed such things he was not one to be followed. Now here we are and York HIMSELF is on the dissecting table should he be judged by the VERY SAME standard he wanted his members to judge Jim Baker by? HELL YES!!!! But the mastermind behind his strategy: Try and tear down one's religion, then feed them my incomplete religion filled with incomplete sentences and mind twisting rherotic. Is a good one and has been quite effective. Because once you tear down someone's religion (which NO ONE who is supremely dedicated to their religion can be swayed from it by york) then they have nowhere to go, they have no choice but to continue in what you feed them. But I am proud of the many nuwaubians who have returned back to their religions and the others who have discovered other paths moor fullfilling and conducive to their goals. I commend them. Another strategy that keeps people stuck in that web is promises of a better tomorrow and a change of identity. A lot of people would love to undue the mistakes in their past and if they are taught they can do that with a simple name change and become something new and supposedly better then they will jump at the chance to do so. Being told they are gods is like giving out free crack to crackheads. People will eat that up. Especially people like us who have low self esteem to begin with and don't have the heritage in this country we can universally be proud of.
