Cordialities are extended. Is there anything positive to be gathered from this "tangled and twisted" thread? Accusations beget accusations....

Your ignorance is truly trifling that if you think that York did not purchase the Al-mahdi fezzes from a masonic supply company. You and I know both that he did not purchase those tarbooshes overseas. If he was truly into the game, that is where he should have purchased it. Don't insult me my brother with your kindergarten questions. Remember what you stated on the other forum. I know the answer and it is taught to the PHA shriners also. So don't think that York has the market on it.......

We/I have always ordered the tarbooshes from D. Turin Co, in Hialeah, FL. Those red fezzes, like the one m9 has in res.#20 were ordered from Morocco. Balkis, take a good look at these pictures. Now tell me the differences between the covering that York has on and the coverings of the brethren below... Still a euro masonic supply company: Turin & Company Supplier of Masonic fraternal fezzes, regalia, aprons, jewelry, and more. A great line of products for great organizations The Shrine of North America is known for its colorful parades, circuses and clowns. But there is also a serious side to this international fraternity of approximately 525,000 men belonging to 191 Shrine Temples, or chapters, throughout North America. For over 75 years, the Shrine has operated a network of specialized hospitals that treat children with orthopedic problems, burns and spinal cord injuries, up to their 18th birthday, free of charge. The Shrine was founded in 1872 by a group of 13 men belonging to the Masonic Order. It was originally established to provide fun and fellowship for its members. But as the organization grew, its members decided to dedicate their efforts to helping others by establishing an official Shrine philanthropy—a network of specialized hospitals that have provided expert medical care to more than 600,000 children, free of charge. Since the first Shriners Hospital opened in 1922, the Shrine has supported what has come to be known as the "World's Greatest Philanthropy." The Shrine and its 22 hospitals, while maintaining separate legal and financial identities, are linked through the Shrine's continuing support of Shriners Hospitals. The best known symbol of Shrinedom is the distinctive red fez that Shriners wear at official functions. Because Shriners are men who enjoy life, fun is a large part of the Shrine and the activities that help support the Shrine's philanthropy. Most Shrine Temples sponsor Shrine Clubs and special units, such as the motor corps, band or clown units and many other units of interest. They share in the camaraderie, deep friendships and good fellowship that are all part of being a Shriner. Turin & Company has been filling the supply needs of organizations like this since 1926. Balkis, Do you think they were ordered from Morocco? The overhead for that would be high. Inconsistancies of overseas companies in places where the governments are not stable. Many Masonic supply companies make their own.....

Bro. Ralph,
I was agreeing with you by stating that those tarbooshes did in fact come from a company right here and not overseas. Also, I was stating that the only one from overseas, were the little red fezzes like what the brother was wearing.

Many Masonic supply companies make their own..... Bro. Ralph, the only reason I commented on this, is because it was I who originally ordered those little red fezzes from Morocco. The cost was high, but when you do buy in large volume, it is much less per item, and of course you do have to pay brokerege fees, and duty taxes, etc. The cost was recouped in the price of the fez, and since he made it a "MUST HAVE ITEM", the money was always made back and much more. I also have ordered from D. Turin, and they do make their own, and will custom make to your specifications. The great cost comes in when you want to make a new color, then, the up charge is much much more.

there is a Morocan shop in Phipps Plaza that carries the red fezz like m9, 1dell was going to get one. Probably, the got it from the same co. or they are a repersentative of that co. in ATL. The company owner daughter also runs a shop in Orland, Fl. where they could be purchased also.
