-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jesus' first sermon plain or mount? Matt.5:1,2: "And seeing the multitudes, he went up into a mountain: and when he was set, his disciples came unto him: And he opened his mouth, and taught them, saying...." Luke6:17,20: "And he came down with them, and stood in the plain, and the company of his disciples, and a great multitude of people...came to hear him.. And he lifted up his eyes on his disciples and said..." -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jesus' last words Matt.27:46,50: "And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, "Eli, eli, lama sabachthani?" that is to say, "My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?" ...Jesus, when he cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost." Luke23:46: "And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, "Father, unto thy hands I commend my spirit:" and having said thus, he gave up the ghost." John19:30: "When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, "It is finished:" and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost." -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Years of famine II SAMUEL 24:13: So God came to David, and told him, and said unto him, shall SEVEN YEARS OF FAMINE come unto thee in thy land? or will thou flee three months before thine enemies, while they pursue. thee? I CHRONICLES 21:11: SO God came to David, and said unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Choose thee. Either THREE YEARS OF FAMINE or three months to be destryed before thy foes, while that the sword of thine enemies overtaketh thee; -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Moved David to anger? II SAMUEL 24: And again the anger of the LORD was kindled against Israel, and he moved David against them to say, Go, number Isreal and Judah. I CHRONICLES 21: And SATAN stood up against Isreal, and provoked David to number Israel. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The GENEALOGY OF JESUS? In two places in the New Testament the genealogy of Jesus son of Mary (PBUH) is mentioned. Matthew 1:6-16 and Luke 3:23-31. Each gives the ancestors of Joseph the CLAIMED husband of Mary and Step father of Jesus(PBUH). The first one starts from Abraham(verse 2) all the way down to Jesus. The second one from Jesus all the way back to Adam. The only common name to these two lists between David and Jesus is JOSEPH, How can this be true? and also How can Jesus have a genealogy when all Muslims and most Christians believe that Jesus had/has no father. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- God be seen? Exod. 24:9,10; Amos 9:1; Gen. 26:2; and John 14:9 God CAN be seen: "And I will take away my hand, and thou shalt see my backparts." (Ex. 33:23) "And the Lord spake to Moses face to face, as a man speaketh to his friend." (Ex. 33:11) "For I have seen God face to face, and my life is preserved." (Gen. 32:30) God CANNOT be seen: "No man hath seen God at any time." (John 1:18) "And he said, Thou canst not see my face; for there shall no man see me and live." (Ex. 33:20) "Whom no man hath seen nor can see." (1 Tim. 6:16) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- CRUEL, UNMERCIFUL, DESTRUCTIVE, and FEROCIOUS or KIND, MERCIFUL, and GOOD: "I will not pity, nor spare, nor have mercy, but destroy." (Jer. 13:14) "Now go and smite Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and spare them not, but slay both man and woman, infant and suckling." "The Lord is very pitiful and of tender mercy." (James 5:11) "For his mercy endureth forever." (1 Chron. 16:34) "The Lord is good to all, and his tender mercies are over all his works." (Ps. 145:9) "God is love." (1 John 4:16) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Tempts? "And it came to pass after these things, that God did tempt Abraham." (Gen 22:1) "Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God; for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man." (James 1:13) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Judas died how? "And he cast down the pieces of silver into the temple and departed, and went out and hanged himself." (Matt. 27:5) "And falling headlong, he burst asunder in the midst, and all of his bowels gushed out." (Acts 1:18) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ascend to heaven "And Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven." (2 Kings 2:11) "No man hath ascended up to heaven but he that came down from heaven, ... the Son of Man." (John 3:13) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- What was Jesus' prediction regarding Peter's denial? MAR 14:72 And the second time the cock crew. And Peter called to mind the word that Jesus said unto him, Before the cock crow twice, thou shalt deny me thrice. And when he thought thereon, he wept. MAT 26:74 Then began he to curse and to swear, saying, I know not the man. And immediately the cock crew. MAT 26:75 And Peter remembered the word of Jesus, which said unto him, Before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice. And he went out, and wept bitterly. LUK 22:60 And Peter said, Man, I know not what thou sayest. And immediately, while he yet spake, the cock crew. LUK 22:61 And the Lord turned, and looked upon Peter. And Peter remembered the word of the Lord, how he had said unto him, Before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice. JOH 13:38 Jesus answered him, Wilt thou lay down thy life for my sake? Verily, verily, I say unto thee, The cock shall not crow, still thou hast denied me thrice. JOH 18:27 Peter then denied again: and immediately the cock crew. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Who killed Saul SA1 31:4 Then said Saul unto his armourbearer, Draw thy sword, and thrust me through therewith; lest these uncircumcised come and thrust me through, and abuse me. But his armourbearer would not; for he was sore afraid. Therefore Saul took a sword, and fell upon it. SA1 31:5 And when his armourbearer saw that Saul was dead, he fell likewise upon his sword, and died with him. SA1 31:6 So Saul died, and his three sons, and his armourbearer, and all his men, that same day together. SA2 1:15 And David called one of the young men, and said, Go near, and fall upon him. And he smote him that he died. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- How many beatitudes in the Sermon on the Mount MAT 5:3 Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the king- dom of heaven. Blessed are ye that weep now: for ye shall laugh. LUK 6:22 Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man's sake. ECC 7:20 For there is not a just man upon earth, that doeth good, and sinneth not. JO1 1:8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. JO1 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to for- give us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. JO1 1:10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us. JO1 3:9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Who bought potter's field ACT 1:18 Now this man purchased a field with the reward of ini- quity; and falling headlong, he burst asunder in the midst, and all his bowels gushed out. ACT 1:19 And it was known unto all the dwellers at Jerusalem; insomuch as that field is called in their proper tongue, Acelda- ma, that is to say, The field of blood. MAT 27:6 And the chief priests took the silver pieces, and said, It is not lawful for to put them into the treasury, because it is the price of blood. As far as I can see from a quick look, the prophecies have "after three days", but the post-resurrection narratives have "on the third day".

Thanks Ptah! This is where I have my most fun! Let's start with the first one:
God good to all, or just a few? PSA 145:9 The LORD is good to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works. JER 13:14 And I will dash them one against another, even the fathers and the sons together, saith the LORD: I will not pity, nor spare, nor have mercy, but destroy them.
I am familiar with this list of contradictions and I know you didn't do this so please don't take ANY of my comments personally. But this one "contradiction" right here shows that the person who "found" this "contradiction" is as stupid as they come! First of all yes God is good to all and Ishua gives the example that he causes the rain to fall on the just and the unjust. Examples are that there are many nations that do not follow him yet he causes the sun to shine upon then and they have a fruitful bounty as well. But those who wish to "find" "contradictions" seem to conveniently forget his other aspects. THat God is a JUDGE and will not tolerate but so much unrighteousness and that verse that they say contradicts God's goodness is nothing more than God being fed up with a nation and must bring their judge deserts. He is a punisher, which is STILL GOOD!!!! becuase he only punishes those who have violated laws. Now if someone is violating laws that means someone is suffering because God's laws concern only 2 entities, either other people or himself. So if a nation is violating laws they are violating someone else and God is acting as hero! which is GOOD. And by virtue of the fact that he is punishing unrighteousness then that is GOOD because that means he is judicious and FAIR!
Man has one definition of what Good is and God has another. Just as a child never thinks a spanking is good man sometimes fail to see the forest for the trees.
Besides that verse that says that God does good NEVER says that he does ALL the time. there MUST be times when he return evil upon those who do evil. AS I have already said. So this is in no wise a contradiction just PURE misunderstanding and poor scholarship on the part of those who compiled this "list" of "contradictions"
This is one is WAY too easy. But if you would like to debate that then that is cool Besides this is not a contradiction because everything I have just said to you is in the scripture and if the scripture tells you of the conditions of which you must operate to procure God's goodness then it leaves itself in no error. Besides in the book of Davariym it tells you what you must do to procure God's goodness and to incur his wrath. the 26th chapter to be exact. So by this point those who are of Him know that the Psalmist is speaking in conditional terms. But then again God's goodness comes without condition, but his wrath is based on conditions. There is a such thing as an overflow of God's goodness which is based on condition, but the generic goodness can be seen everywhere in the basic necessities.

NEXT!!!! EXO 15:3 The LORD is a man of war: the LORD is his name. ROM 15:33 Now the God of peace be with you all. Amen.
The title the God of Peace, hmmm, doesnt it seem like another God? I mean like the indians would say, the God of the moon, or the God of the wind etc etc. May the God who is over Peace be with you, is a blessing, it's not saying that is peace ONLY! but may he reveal his attribute of peace over you. Now the ONLY way this would be a contradiction is if EVERYWHERE else in the bible you find God being a man of war and ONLY here did it say the "God of Peace" which is still apples and oranges. Because is saying "God is a..." while the other one is saying "The God of..."!!!! So the comparision is skewed. Anyway let me make this simple.
It's as easy as pie! Yes IHaVaH is a God of peace, but as we humans know, sometimes war is the method of acheiving peace! Man these cats REALLY look stupid and show their ignorace of the God of Ysrael! He even makes it known that his methods are peace AND war! and by using War peace is achieved because either you are destroyed (which brings peace) or you succumb (which brings peace) and if you are in violation to His laws then you are the one disturbing the peace and since He prefers peace you must be dealt with, that peace my once again reign!
It's simple

NEXT!!!
Who is the father of Joseph? MAT 1:16 And Jacob begat Joseph the husband of Mary, of whom was born Jesus, who is called Christ. LUK 3:23 And Jesus himself began to be about thirty years of age, being (as was supposed) the son of Joseph, which was the son of Heli.
this is altogether too easy! Neither verse says that Yosef is Ishua's father, but what the heck does that have to do with anything? I don't know, maybe I got ahead of myself. But in answering this I can answer the other "contradiction" of the 2 geneologies of Ishua which are supposedly contradicting.
basically, the second verse in the "contradiction" isn't even about Yosef as the subject, but Ishua as the Subject and Yosef is a meandering side point here is the key:"And Jesus himself began to be about thirty years of age, being (as was supposed) the son of Joseph, which was the son of Heli." This verse could be written also like this: And "Jesus himself began to be about thirty years of age, (being [as was supposed] the son of Joseph) which was the son of Heli." even in todays english when one wants to make a side point that is separate from the main subject they used commas, which could also be replaced and serve the same function as parenthesis. Which means this verse is REALLY meant to be interpreted this way: And Jesus himself began to be about thirty years of age which was the son of Heli.
Which then helps explain the difference in geneologies. One is the geneology of Yosef (in Mattityahu/matthew) and the other is the geneology of Miriyam/mary whose father is named Heli or Eli. Since there was such controversy about Yosef being Ishua's father which his disciples knew that he wasn't but yet knowing that Mary was his father, then the father of mary could be called the father of Ishua too or the Bigger father, we call Grandfather, because if you look at the whole chapter where it lists the names, it doesn't say "and so and so begot so and so.." it says "and blank blank OF blank blank.." which does NOT denote direct fatherhood of.
So the moral of the story is, Heli is NOT the father of Yosef nor is this a the geneology of Yosef, they just mentioned Yosef in relation to the subject who is Ishua, Yosef who was SUPPOSED the father of Ishua. Also another point to notice is that the King James does a funny thing. in this version when you see words that are Italicized that means that is was not in the original manuscripts but was added to give proper english syntax or because the translators thought that word should be there and I know that some king james versions have the words "the son" of in either italics or in brackets which means IT NOT IN THE ORIGINAL!!!!!
Silly mortals!

Who was at the Empty Tomb? Is it : MAT 28:1 In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre. MAR 16:1 And when the sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome, had bought sweet spices, that they might come and anoint him. JOH 20:1 The first day of the week cometh Mary Magdalene early, when it was yet dark, unto the sepulchre, and seeth the stone taken away from the sepulchre.
I am sorry, but I FAIL to see the contradiction! It says that Mary came but ALL 3 came bringing spices. the ONLY thing is that there is 24 hours in one day, NEITHER verse says that so and so was the ONLY one that came that day as we keep reading we find that there were more people that showed up later that day. NOw the contradiction would be if they said MARY was the First person there that day and another place it said SIMONE was the FIRST person there that day. But since it NEVER states the times nor the order it is safer to assume that these were different times of the day. Or perhaps all 3 women came and 2 left and then Mary is stays behind to weep longer and at that moment Ishua comes to her. There is absolutely no contradiction here, just another failed attempted to find fault but a successful attempt to prove the stupidity of those bible haters

Is Jesus equal to or lesser than? JOH 10:30 I and my Father are one. JOH 14:28 Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I
Again I fail to see the contradiction! being one does not denote that he is saying they are equal nor does it have anything to do with status or stature, it mainly about being unified! Heck I am one with my mother on a lot of view heck I am one with my mother PERIOD! She gave me bones and flesh but she is greater than I am in line of who is more deserving of honor. What this is is a prime example of how ignorant these cats are of the hebraic way of speaking! One means unity. It's not hard to understand at all! Besides anyone with common sense could cypher what he was saying. Ishua at the time was flesh, yet he told you his father was spirit. How in the heck could flesh and spirit be one? Even when Ishua said that Flesh and blood could not inherit the kingdom of Heaven (the kingdom in which his father is ruler) Again when one reads the WHOLE bible each little piece becomes clear at the puzzle is better seen

Which first--beasts or man? GEN 1:25 And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good. GEN 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. GEN 2:18 And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him. GEN 2:19 And out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof.
NOw I will admit this MAY seem sort of confusing at FIRST but it's EASILY understand when someone takes the time to understand it.
In fact since my supervisor is hovering around here, I will give the condensed version of the explaination: There are classifications of animals int he bible. there are Creepers (animals that are low to the ground but not neccessarily earth bound i.e. insects and their classes) Cattle (all animals that are quadraped and commune in herds, everthing from cows to wildabeests) Beasts of the field (these are your larger class animals) there are the fowl (birds) and there are the fish. On the 5th day these are created in the proper chronology. YET God did NOT finish creating a thing UNTIL the seventh day so his creating of animals did not have to end on the 5th day. AS we see it even evolved into the 6th day where he created man and woman and we see He is also creating animals as well. See God created man in one location and from THAT location TOOK him and PLACED him IN the Garden of Eden. Now the Garden of Eden is discribed thorough the bible by various prophets and from it's auditory visual picture, it was not quite like what we see in the little children's bibles. When God placed man there, it's obvious that he didn't have animals in the GARDEN but other parts of the earth there were animals. HE SPECIFICALLY created animals before the man to SEE What Adam would call them AND for the purpose of keeping him company and helping him to burden the task of the garden's upkeep. Remember when I was talking about animal classification? Well now this applies because on the 4th day God created all the classes of animals that I have mentioned - fish fowl, beasts, creepers, and cattle. BUT on this 6 day WITHIN the GARDEN what class of animals do you see being created? ONLY the Beast of the field and FOWL of the air. Well there are at least 5 classes of animals yet God only brought 2 classes before adam. But what did God say before he did this? He said it's not good for man to be ALONE! Well it's obvious that Adam was the ONLY "being" in the garden at the time and God created animals in his presence there probably even allowing adam part in the creation process as to what type of animal it should beand how it should behave, this is part of the NAMING process. So in a way these are CUSTOMIZED animals, unlike those without the garden.
I think I said enough, if there are any questions and challenges you know where to find me

The number of beasts in the ark GEN 7:2 Of every clean beast thou shalt take to thee by sevens, the male and his female: and of beasts that are not clean by two, the male and his female. GEN 7:8 Of clean beasts, and of beasts that are not clean, and of fowls, and of every thing that creepeth upon the earth, GEN 7:9 There went in two and two unto Noah into the ark, the male and the female, as God had commanded Noah.
This "contradiction" hurts the most because it just goes to show JUST how IGNORANT "scholars" can be that try and come up with these "contradictions" I mean all it takes is just some GOOOD common sense to figure out check it:
First God has a distinction between the types of animals he want in the ark - Clean and Unclean YET they BOTH have one thing in common, he wants them brought in 2 and 2. In modern venecular we would say PAIRS!!!! God said "Of the clean beasts you shall take the MALE and his FEMALE" Uhmmm, the last time I checked a male and female made 2, a PAIR if you will so THAT is taking into the ark a PAIR. Now the DIFFERENCE is the clean animals were taken into the ark 7 PAIRS of each group. Which would mean of the lambs there were 7 pair of lamb in the ark, (meaning 14 altogether of that species) 7 pair of cow in the ark. BUT of the unclean animals, only 2 PAIR of them were to found in the ark which would mean of the Buzzards there would only be 2 pair (or 4 altogether) found in the ark of that species.
I have basically explained it, I could go on and on reiterating this and that but why bother when I would be just talking in circles. I hope by now people are starting to see that these are NOT bible contradictions but MERE misunderstanding of misinterpretations of scriptures by inscrupulous "scholars" or casual bible readers/enemies of the scripture.
Until the next "contradiction"

How many stalls and horsemen? KI1 4:26 And Solomon had forty thousand stalls of horses for his chariots, and twelve thousand horsemen. CH2 9:25 And Solomon had four thousand stalls for horses and chariots, and twelve thousand horsemen; whom he bestowed in the chariot cities, and with the king at Jerusalem.
Now this is a bit different there are a slew of numerical errors in the mix between 1 &q 2 Kings and 1 &q2 Chronicles. Part of the problem is the translation into english the other part is that the Chronicles were being rerecorded during the time of the babylonian exile and I am not mistaken it was being recorded from MEMORY, but I could be wrong. It's no matter because even as this is it is NOT a contradiction because of the variables and data that we have to deal with here Let's do a mathmatical breakdown and see that these 2 verse are as different as they are similar.
"And Solomon had forty thousand stalls of horses for his chariots, and twelve thousand horsemen."
* 40,000 * stalls * of horses * FOR his chariots * and 12,000 horsemen *
Next:
And Solomon had four thousand stalls for horses and chariots, and twelve thousand horsemen; whom he bestowed in the chariot cities, and with the king at Jerusalem.
* 4,000 stalls * for horses AND chariots * 12,000 horsemen * whom he BESTOWED in the the CHARIOT cities AND with the KING AT YERUSHALAYIM!
NOtice that in the first instance altogether there are 40,000 stalls for HORSES FOR his chariots then in the 2nd instance there are 4,000 stalls for HORSE AND CHARIOTS together. But we find that he distributed some stalls, horses and chariots and horsemen to each of the tribes as we find out in the later verse. Which would THEN render the understanding that throughout ALL Ysrael there were 40,000 stalls that belonged to solomon for the storage of horses yet in YERUSHALAYIM where Shlomo resided there were 4 thousand for both his horses AND chariots.
Again to the REAL student of the scriptures there is no contradiction. Tis why the 2nd scripture adds the EXTRA information. It pays to be a REAL student of the scripture.

This is a response from Kahanyah:
As I always say, the bible is MASONIC in language. You must have the keys to unlock.
Dont read the book literally. Now heres the key.
Numbers have corolation. There are only 9 numbers that are truly real in the bible.
40,000 and 4000 are not contradictions. They mean the same. They signify the number FOUR.

A response from me to Kah:
To be honest Kah, ain't nobody tryin' to hear that. They will just think that it's a cop out which would further confirm their doubts of the book. So with logic, practicality and common sense, I go about explaining these supposed contradictions. Say what you just said is like telling a "sinner" "Oh you want understand the bible until you have the Holy Goat, uh I mean Ghost" aint nobody trying to hear all that
