-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The path of Egolessness/Universal Love:
Matthew 22
"36. Master, which is the greatest commandment in the law(Torah)? 37. Jesus said to him, thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy soul, and all thy mind. 38. This is the first and grat commandment. 39. And the second is like it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. 40. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets."
This is all you need; the rest of the Bible should be burnt!

In gnostic texts this passage deals with the fact that all things are of the same kin. Tied together and binded together by likeness. If thy right eye offend the pluck it out. Meaning remove it from your life. It doesn't benefit the whole.
"Love thy neighbor as thyself", very deep yet misunderstood passage.
