What does it mean to be saved?

Is it like the Save or Save As menu command on my PC/Mac? What is it? And why is it important?

ahhh, young padewan( i think I spelled that right-jedi apprentice)you are strong in the force. You ask a very loaded question. Well from my experience on August 1, 1996 all of my being was opened to what Is. After speaking in private to a fraternal brother, who is presbyterian minister, about Truth and Reality, I started to connect all that I had learned in the material to this drive or need in my spirit.

By the way, at that time in my life I had been homeless, out of school for 2 years, a weed head, club goer and street scholar(teaching club goers, partyers, and down for whatever folks things that I had learn from school and my own reading. I was a 3.7 gpa student hanging out smoking weed all day and having sex and helping other college students and townsfolk with what's really going on in the world-the wise, intuitive drop out speaking knowledge(without action though)).

I was at a point in my life that my material understanding was at a very high capacity of information in my head. As the minister and I were speaking about truth(Absolute Truth and not religion-I was giving more than he was on the subject-I watched for the brainwashing techniques), I was Opened. I felt emotions and thoughts from every physical and spiritual direction there is. I Felt a Light inside and out. I had to leave the minister's home. All kind of revelations started to come out of my about the past,present and future. I had the need to teach what I had learned about myself and the world. It must come out(Renewal:Messianic Hebrews). What I was releasing I had to try it against all forms of mental combat there was. I tested it in the material world of knowledge and in the dimension of abstract logic. All is still falling into place.

My whole being changed. A state of grace came about me. My contenance was even different. For the metaphysics out there, I would see what you would call an aura around people. It's like I had to do what I knew what was right(the simplest meaning). The fire had when I was first Opened is different now. More controlled and focused. I can write a couple of full post to explain some of the stuff I went through after I was given to GOD(I have expressed many of my adventures on past illuminopolis sites. I will just stick to the basics for now though).

In the present, it's not that I do not do any wrong but when I think about or do it, my conscious lets me know immediately that I am going against what's right. I can't justify or talk myself into believing something is not good for me is. My inner voice will let me know the Truth. I might go ahead and do the wrong things but I know that consequences are coming and that I was wrong for doing it-no excuses no matter how hard I try to bury what I did.

I was given different gifts, for one, I have a certain knowing about people and things. The power of discernment is strong in me. Saying what people are thinking before they say it I do a lot(many of us have this trait). Actually knowing that I am connected to all that is around me and a spiritual Body of Knowers of GOD made Flesh.

Being Saved is a fiery statement for those who wish only to debate and find hole in someones belief for the pure sake of arguement and not the seeking of Truth. For me(and countless others)it is a inner knowing about the spiritual and physical Reality being a manifestation of the Living GOD Lord Savior. It's like a cool breeze inside of you. You have troubles but all is for the greater good. True livers of the Way fight and protest without much anxiety or fear. Euphoria in your inner Being. No books or debate can affirm or disavow the Truth in us. There are a lot of charlatans and pimps out do unto other what they wantt did. There are those who get emotional experience but no change in their lives who think the have experiened All.

No matter what, you will know a Tree by its Fruit. What is that person producing by being a vessel of the Living GOD(a lot of the Gospels deals with investing and producing from those investment unto the Kingdom of GOD-K.O.G. internally is represented as the person become a Whole Being in the purest sense of the word,balance of mind, body, spirit in harmonious health being conscious of its connection to GOD. Externally, the Kingdom of GOD is creating an enviroment through Faith in Action and a Prayer of focus Knowing open for Lord GOD to cleanse you and be a Blessing to others by enriching someone else's life by investing or seeding in them what was given to you.

I will continue but I am taking our kids in our Exodus group to the skating rink tonight after there hard work today.

Please reread my reply above this one, "New Child", because I was in a rush trying to leave and go on a fun trip with my kids in the "Exodus" program. I left out some details that needed to be stated.

You know.. i have been asked that question before.. how do you know when you are REALLY saved... at this point in my life I dont really know how to answer.. The church says if you declare jesus christ as your lord and savior then you are saved... I just dont really know.. considering my soul is at stake i really should try to find out.. at this stage of the game I try to do good, be good to people, and be the best person I can be. I do accept jesus christ as my lord and savior. I dont call myself a christian at this point because i dont catagorize myself.. I constantly search for knowlege and have for the first time decide to undertake reading the bible in it's ENTIRETY.. not just reading bits and pieces here and there.. i think that you miss the whole picture when you just use bits and pieces here and there just to support certain arguements.. in order to fully understand the bible you have to read the whole thing- and really more than once. The bible is not an easy thing to read, but i think it is important to pray before doing so- to ask for wisdom to be able to actually comprehend what your reading.. sorry to get off topic but i just had to say that..

You can not be saved until The Messiah comes

I think they mean salvation of the mind - baptism. What youre talkin bout Rev. Carter [if that's what you really are] is redemption of the body and that we must await for coming of the messiah in order to recieve. Anyone can presently be saved in the mind but all must await for the redemption of the body.

If you're a doubting Thomas, then it's likely you aren't.

There's a knowing that comes from being truly saved. Say i walk to the road, get hit by a semi-truck. Somehow i survive, but hanging by a limb...if at that point there is no fear concerning death because I know that my life is in order. Kinda like that.
