I would however like to address something I've noticed about the photo of A'ferti Atum Re. He's actually wearing the Khemetic funeral mask style of hat with the lion's mane. Which was not worn while the Pharoah/Aa'ferti was living.

Barry, do you know what the LIONS MANE represented? I'm actually in the middle of researching all of this now. I'm not aware of what the lion's mane represented, but from the research I've done thus far the living pharoah did not wear it. Don't quote me on this however, as I stated I'm still researching this. |
