Tribal News: The Fruit Never Falls far from the Tree
There is a saying “birds of a feather flock together” and Sheriff Sills, his family and his cronies like Noel Lee Wilson and Frances Nearn Ford are a flock. There is another saying that “the fruit never falls far from the tree”. Sheriff Sills is the tree and all the people in his circle, the fruit, aren’t different from what he appears to be: violent, lawbreaking and deceptive. Let’s start right at home with Howard Richard Sills’ parents. At the same time Sheriff Howard Richard Sills was accusing Nuwaupians of having...
too many people living in the house with them and trying to disqualify them from voting in the 2002 A.D. election, Sheriff: Sills own father, Roland Sills had a list of people living in his house, all with different last names all supposedly eligible to vote for his son Sheriff Sills in the 2000 A.D. Sheriff’s Election. When you looked at the Georgia Secretary of State Voter Registration system Active/ Inactive Voter list by county district by precinct/street order Commission District 4 you saw all eight people were listed under the address of 178 Scuffleboro Road. Eight people all over 18 living in the house and it was not challenged. So, Sheriff Howard Richard Sills’ father, Roland Sills appears to have played a role in voting fraud. And let’s not forget the rumor that Sheriff Sills’ father shot his mother. The fruit never falls far from the tree. Now speaking of guns, let’s look at the mother of the Sills Clan, Joyce Hobbs. She got away with pointing a loaded gun at the game warden DNR Officer Lee Burnes and Officer Renaldo Sanders on November 15, 2002 A.D., which they called nothing more than “disorderly conduct”. Only her rifle was confiscated, according to the incident report. The fruit never falls far from the tree. Not to mention, Sills’ cousin, Charles Sills, got away with 7 counts (case 99-CR-335) Terrorist Threats & Acts, Obstruction of an Officer, failure to maintain a lane, Seatbelt violation, improper transfer of tag, driving under the influence and operation of an unregistered vehicle. He did not receive any type of reprimand. If it had been anybody else that is not a personal relative of Sheriff Sills or in his corrupt circle, they would have been thrown under the jail. Another criminal in the Sills family. The fruit never falls far from the tree. Speaking of family, it’s has been a rumor for many years that Sheriff Howard Richard Sills has been hiding a big secret that would be revealed if the records from his divorce from Cathy Sills were ever unsealed. This proceeding, Howard R. Sills plaintiff versus Cathy Denise Sills, maiden name Taylor, Civil Action File No. 98-cv-151-5 and was signed on his behalf by the County Clerk Chief Deputy Helen T. Kitchens. And who helped Sheriff: Sills hide his violent past, Putnam County Superior Court Chief Judge William H Prior, Jr. the same judge presiding over Dr. Malachi York’s state case. The fruit never falls far from the tree. The Court order sealing the Sills’ divorce records states
“the clerk shall file the stamp the entire file except the final decree and place it under seal in an envelope clearly marked sealed-access by superior court order only. The file should be locked securely so that no unauthorized access is allowed. So ordered this 14th day of July 1998 A.D.”<br>
signed by Judge Superior Court, Ocmulgee Judicial Circuit William Prior Jr. The fruit never falls far from the tree. And why have they kept these divorce records from public scrutiny if Sheriff: Sills wasn’t afraid or if he wasn’t hiding something? What is he hiding? It has been said that Sheriff Sills broke his wife’s jaw with a baseball bat. Reports of Sills abusing his wife surfaced in April 1998 A.D. and the rumor spread all over the county. But since he was a part of law enforcement nothing was ever done about it. It is said he almost killed Cathy Sills with a baseball bat and nothing was done about it. He divorced his wife the same year. She has an apparent broken jaw and her face will never the same but everybody wanted to keep it hush-hush because of the law that states that any police officer convicted of domestic violence can no longer carry a firearm.
And lets not forget about Michael Flynn (who is rumored to have been having an affair with Sheriff Sills’ ex-wife Cathy) is found dead behind a club that just happens to close down so no evidence can be found and sills took total control of investigation just like recent cases never solved. The fruit never falls far from the tree. Then on top of that Sheriff Sills has an affair with a married woman Teresa Slade who used to be his secretary. And there was such a scandal that she and her family were run out of Putnam County to South Carolina. It is said that his affair broke up Theresa Slade’s marriage by them being caught in bed by Mrs. Slade’s husband in his own house (“A John Gotti Behind a Badge”, The Macon Messenger Newspaper, Fall 2002 A.D.). Now we are up to Sheriff Howard Richard Sills former right hand man Noel Lee Wilson. Sheriff Sills has a DUI conviction and then he hires a known drug addict and alcoholic to his force, namely Noel Lee Wilson. He has also broken the law at the command of Sheriff: Sills such as videotaping without consent on private property. On November 5, 2002 A.D. then Sheriff’s Deputy Noel Lee Wilson was arrested for “acquisition of controlled substances by omission to practitioner” also known as “doctor shopping” or “double doctoring”. Noel Lee Wilson from the Putnam County Sheriff’s Department, Sills’ number one deputy was a drug addict and you are telling us Sills did not know as close as he was to Wilson. This would have went undetected if it had not been exposed by Greene County, where Reynolds Plantation is the hang out for Sills and his cronies finally arresting Wilson for something Sheriff: Sills probably knew about all along. Just look at the ledgers for Putnam County Sheriff’s Department, they spent large amounts of money that totaled $30,917.14 over a short period of time all paid to Shoppers Pharmacy located in Eatonton, a privately owned pharmacy. That’s a lot of money for such a small sheriff’s department to pay to a pharmacy. Could it be that Noel Lee Wilson wasn’t the only one running up the bill? The fruit never falls far from the tree.
