Man, I dont need to buy a CD that has songs about the ANUNAKIs and the ELDERS. If this was the case, then I would have got one of Nuwaubians HOEteps wacky 9 to the 9th power of 9 Joints. ok...I had to interject here...that joker's stuff is supposed to smoke GhostFace Killa? According to who? The guy with the Prince haircut? Well...to each his own, but people down south don't tend to have any real taste when it comes to hip-hop anyway...the environment is diffferent...even Atlanta is a Sunbelt city...hip-hop was invented in the heart and grime of the ironbelt industrial tristate.
In anycase...Nuwaupians should appreciate the new Nas stuff..like when he says the hood is haunted like the Dakota house where John Lennon got shot up. What? Of course Nas is the same rapper that proclaimed in the summer of 1996 that "I don't wanna have to clap my peoples, but I might have to..cuz i talk like Dr. malachi Z York...play the sidewalk..."
Nasier is a true arrtist...but unfortunately...the lil albulms that he and Mobb Deep and Khadafy put out on the streets...they dont make it down to Georgia too tough...but most of their best material never makes it to any actual albulm being distributed in chainstores across America. You gotta be up here in the center of the world to catch the real flava.
