That's right a skate-a-thon a bowl-a-thon will restore nuwaubian pride. How many nuwaubians are going to come in Jester/Clown customs this time? Who is coming up with this stuff? If skating in circles help nuwaubians forget the injustice down to their former leader and chief, well get your SKATE ON!

i think you misread that.. first 25 KIDS get in free.. he never said what the tickets cost..but i shudder to think.. especially with them needing 300,000.00 for york's "defense".. but let us not get that convo started again..lol

event. I just hope there wont be alot of propaganda.

It would be truly a good deed if the PROCEEDS from the skate event IS for the CHILDREN, which by the way are from birth until 18 or 21 depending of the state, so no need to say "(small & big ones)". This particular statement may indicate a double purpose for the money, because aren't we ALL the "CHILDREN of 'The Most High'?

However, the events that the nuwaubians do have fun filled events.

I must say after seeing children out here do dance presentantions, they have absolutely NOTHING over the childrens' proformances on tamare. They were ALL that and then some!

Those young women who thought them were great at what they did!

So whatever the reason for the fund raiser, it is a positive thing to do, to go out with your entire family and have fun!

Agreed Balkis...I went to a NUWAUBIAN BALL in 1999 at the Athens Classic Center and the best stage performance of the evening were the children dance performers. The boys performed a routine that had such military precision, rhythm, and discipline it was extraordinary to see the TIMING! The girls did a Egyptian dance routine that was just as spectacular! To know that these TALENTED YOUTH were subjected to any type of assault is more DISAPPOINTING than words can utter! Agreed Nuwaubian youth dance performers was a SIGHT TO BEHOLD!

I am probably going to piss up some fellow comrades, but what the heck? Who in there right mind would support an organization who condones the deviant acts committed by their leader and not hold him responsible. Where do you think the proceeds are going? Where have they always gone? This fun fill events has always sponspered York. A down trodden people as this is so easy to forgive, it's a part of the programming from mental abuse, an sexual misuse. These event's if you don't know by now are fundraisers, a campaign to 'FREE MAKU' to Free the same devil who has done all this to you. Somewhere done the road, you stop thinking. Reading these post makes let's me know who really is perverse!

I am in agreement with Knaxemdead about it sponsoring "freeing maku".. I think there is nothing wrong with the nuwaubians and others getting together, but I would not want to participate in something that would benefit York.

I noticed at one show that york had the young girls dressed scantily,and seductively....I wondered then, I don't have to wonder now.....why........

I'm glad someone else mentioned that it was a fund raiser for york, which I knew that, however, not to seem like I was attacking, I pointed out the double talk in them saying that it was to benefit the children.

It stopped being about the children it seems, ever since he took over reings in running the tabs. In Brooklyn, when thing was running good for the children, was when the mosque was ran by his wife who died.

There in Ga, york was in full control, which started upstate, and now that I look back, I do see, the scantiness of some outfits, that was said to be 'egyptian'.

This past tuesday, I attended the after school center for a performance of the group that my 10yr old daughter was part of. The dance, however, "cute", was nothing like those of the children's dances on tamare, or even back in Bk. where the costumes where more modest & tasteful.

The main point was, that it is good for them to get together and have some fun with their children, however they should not keep up with lies, which is what they seem to be good at.
