Overcoming Anger with Patience
Anger is fire, while patience is water. The quest of Nuwaubu begins with the acceptance of Right Knowledge, which acts as symbol of truth. Right widsom is the spiritual method(s) used to take Right Knowledge to its highest attainment, knowledge that illuminates. It is at this moment that one beholds the truth of certainty that is a right overstanding (beholding a thing after having been consumed by it).
Further discipline and practice (usually requires a life time or a succession of incarnations) in the three attainments that is right knowledge, right wisdom and right overstanding, the avatar will then arise from the flames, overcoming anger with patience. This is the moment of evolution, an unfoldement from illumination to darkness.
Knowledge, doctrine, is no longer illuminated by sound right reason but is extinguished by it (Nirvana). Reason is left behind and the mystic experiences a right ultrastanding, freedom (farundum), life (hayuh), happiness (hetep), from the fetters of his endocrines.
