What do you all think about the current 'debate and discussion' in the Heb Isr community about the Shabbat only being during Saturday daylight hours?
I've listened to the dicussions and have found them to be very interesting. WHILE it may seem that the Moreh is crazy outta his head...I wouldn't count him out...because the words in Hebrew do lend 'strong' support to his argument.
Could it be possible that we are adhering to some Euro-Jew tradition that was put in place to "protect" or be a fench around the Shabbat...as certain of their other customs were fences around the Torah.
I haven't fallen down on any side as of this date...it is still a matter of study for me...
I would like to hear your input and thoughts...
