This is not the beginning of the study, for all info check the site.
So here is the SIGN Christ gave to His disciples to identify the final generation who would see His return:
Mark 13:28
Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When her branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is near:
It is not within the scope of this series to do an in-depth study of the parable of the fig tree but we will touch on some of the highlights. The parable actually begins way back in the fig grove in the garden of Eden when the seduction of Eve took place and the "bad tree", the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, produced "bad fruit", even the first "bad fig" himself, Cain. Christ explained this very clearly in His simple explanation of the Parable of the Tares* in Mat. 13.
*Note: The explanation of the Parable of Tares in Mat. 13:24 is separate from and follows the parable itself in Mat. 13:77, i.e. the explanation is not the parable, it is the clear, non-symbolic explanation of it!
Did you know that Cain's offspring, known as Cainites (Kenites), can be traced throughout the Bible? You should because that is how you "count the number of the beast" in Rev. 13, which means to enumerate over a long period of time using little stones worn smooth (use your Strong shovel and dig up the word "count"). Those are our instructions to determine who brought forth the beast in Rev. 13, IF you want to know! The how we learned earlier, i.e. by using the Four Hidden Dynasties.
In tracing these little rocks we find them in 1 Chron. 2:55 affixing themselves to the tribes of Israel. Then we find they came forth with Ezra out of Babylon as temple workers, known as nethinim, and eventually many of them became scribes and Pharisees and actually took over the temple. That is why Christ said in Matthew 23:2 "...The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat", i.e. they are the ones in authority.
The kenites even tried to convince Jesus Christ that they were actually of Abraham's seed but He identified them as the offspring of the first murderer, Cain, in John 8:44. You see, they are the tares He spoke of in Mat. 13 and even to this day these "bad figs" still call themselves Jews as if they were actually of our brother Judah, but they are not! They did not fool Jesus Christ so do not let them fool you! They are evil liars, very "bad figs", NOT God's chosen people, who have mixed in with the "good figs" of Judah and they have given Judah a bad name and reputation. They, the Kenites, are the ones who killed the Messiah, not those of our good brother Judah.
Did you also know that there are only two churches out of the seven listed in Rev. 2 & 3 that Jesus Christ finds no fault with? They are the churches of Smyrna and Philadelphia and they BOTH know who the "bad figs" are, which is a prerequisite for understanding the parable of the fig tree so as to be able to identify the final generation. Here are Christ's comments to the churches of Smyrna and Philadelphia respectively:
Rev. 2:9
I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan.
Rev. 3:9
Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.
Want some easy diggin'? Jeremiah chapter 24 clearly identifies the "good figs" of Judah and the "bad figs" of the residue of Judah who were merely residents, inhabitants of Judea like those nethinim who came back with Ezra for example, i.e. the kenites. Look up the Greek word translated "Jew" in your concordance. You will find it has two meanings: 1.) a person who is a resident of Judea, or 2.) a Judahite. In other words one can be identified as Jew either because he lives in the land of Judea or he is descended from Judah. For example, if I tell you I am a Pennsylvanian you cannot tell what nationality or race or religion I am, can you? Well, not all Jews are of Judah! Blepo! Have you never heard of the Khazars? If not, go get an Encyclopedia Britannica.
Jeremiah 24:1
The LORD shewed me, and, behold, two baskets of figs were set before the temple of the LORD, after that Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon had carried away captive Jeconiah the son of Jehoiakim king of Judah, and the princes of Judah, with the carpenters and smiths, from Jerusalem, and had brought them to Babylon.
Notice that the two baskets of figs were set before the temple!
[2] One basket had very good figs, even like the figs that are first ripe: and the other basket had very naughty figs, which could not be eaten, they were so bad.
[3] Then said the LORD unto me, What seest thou, Jeremiah? And I said, Figs; the good figs, very good; and the evil, very evil, that cannot be eaten, they are so evil.
Do not eat of the "bad figs" for they come from the tree which was in the midst of the garden of God and "they are evil". Dig up the rest of this chapter carefully and it will further identify the good and the bad figs. By this we then know that on May 15, 1948, when the United Nations declared Israel a nation for the first time in over two millennia, that the two baskets of figs were now set forth in Jerusalem before the temple. Let us return to Christ's words in Mark 13, the subject of which is the events leading up to His destruction of that temple at His return, remember?
Mark 13:28
Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When her branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is near:
And so the tender shoot was planted and began to put forth leaves in 1948, but oh my how it has grown in stature today.
[29] So ye in like manner, when ye shall see these things come to pass, know that it is nigh, even at the doors.
Do you realize how near it is? That is why we are "Taking Five" and "Taking Heed"! Next verse!
[30] Verily I say unto you, that this generation shall not pass, till all these things be done.
Wow, the generation that began in 1948 shall not pass away until all the "things" in Mark 13 are DONE! Isn't it interesting that the generation which began in 1948 is specifically known as the Baby Boomers, or is it the Big Babies? Anyway, it is a fitting caption indeed seeing that some of them shall see the birth of a new age! Let's see... 2000 - 1948 = 52. Yes, the Big Baby Boomers are aging fast and they will soon retire, if you know what I mean.
[31] Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.
Two things are for sure: 1.) Jesus Christ has foretold us exactly how the final events are "goin' down", and 2.) they SHALL come to pass EXACTLY as He said they will! Take Heed, His words are reality!
