Something is concerning me:
There are about 4 different Hebrew words for our word Man. I guess you could say it's no matter because we also have word to describe man in his stages of life and representation:
Boy, Man, Male, guy, Mankind, HueMaN, etc. I tell you a hebrew word study could dayum near take a life time. So I don't fault the scholars on their translations especially when the committee gives you a deadline to meet, you will tend to go for the easiest translation.
the hebrew words Adam, aysh, Z'ker, Enosh, Yeled are words that represent the different groupings and stages of mankind.
But there is one passage that causes me pause:
Gen 2:23 And Adam said, This [is] now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.
Ybry
WaYamer Ha Adam Z'at Ha P'um utzem M' utzemi Wa B'sher M' B'sheri L'z'at Yq'ra aysh ki M'aysh L'q'kheh z'at
Word for Word Translation
And He spoke The Adam here The Thrust essence from my essence and gospel from my gospel this she one he proclaim woman for as much as from man she's acquired which
Translation for Comprehension
And he spoke, The Man, "here manifested essence from my essence and communication that of my communication and she is recognized as woman for as much as she has been acquired from man"
DaMMIT!! I had like 6 calls since I typed this and forgot my initial thought!!!! Thats why I HATE trynna post from work.
I'll come back when I remember my dayum point

I was focusing on how Adam said that her name Ishah because she was received from Ish. I think it had something to do with her being named Ishah instead of Adamah. Still can't remember. dayum!
