NOwadays it's it common for people to try and piece puzzles together by combining resources and texts. Many people proport that they confidently have answers by combining all things similar. Even to the point where they disrupt the graves of the ancestors by insulting them with the accusations of theft. Claiming that certain ancestors "STOLE" from others. When proof is asked to be shown of such theft, all these accusers have to show us is similarities in story lines. hmm, that doesn't at all lend itself to proof! Seeing as how what they consider similar is actually the differences betwixt the 2. Or where they may share one common phrase or one common thought. lol, And then there is this pseudo-logic that says, if a nation is older, then they have a monopoly on information and insite. Not so, thats like saying, if Sumer is the oldest recorded civilization THUS FAR, (I say thus far because the archeologists are STILL diggin and the deeper they dig, the older the information gets. There has been a many a written material as of late undoing old and held beliefs.) and if they discovered that red and blue makes purple, then all nations are theives because they stole that knowledge from babylon that red and blue makes purple. Aint that ridiculous? lolol. Or since sumer was the "first" civilization they were the first to realize that fire is hot so whenever someone burns themselves and it hurts they are stealing knowledge from babylon. That's just how folly laden that logic is. So without further adieu, I am going to get int he game and show you how easily this is done. Now children gather around and let me tell you the tale of Eskimoses The person we are all familiar with and know as Moses of the Bible is really a stolen character known as Eskimoses, some of his attributes have been attributed to other characters in order to mask this deception. See, eskimoses was really an egyptian that lived in Alaska during the time when the earth was one huge land mass known as Pangea. During that time Alaska was considered the North Pole. Eskimoses was deified when he reached the highest peak of a mountain in Eskimo land and there he met a deity that gave him the Law. A law by which he could keep hueman's behavior in check. He was also given a list of punishments and rewards in agreeance with their conduct. Moses then left the mountain and spoke in abundant gatherings to administer this law to mankind. And then charged them, If you are naughter your wishes shant be granted, if you are nice, your wishes shall be granted and the day of reckoning for your deeds will be December 25th where your rewards and punishments shall be meted during the shadow hours. To those who show they are worshippers of me, a Menorah with 9 candles will be a sign of the covenant betwixt thee and me. 9 candles for each of the reindeer in my stables. The middle candle shall be red for Rudolpho's nose. To those who do such, double shall be your reward... Dayum, I am laffing so hard, I don't have it in me to continue. But she how easy this bull jank is to write AFTER the fact? I mean I have combined the stories of many different entities just now, but does that make that ish true? lol? Was eskimoses and moses the same? Anybody else wanna get in on developing a story of Eskimoses? join in

Nice job 1Dell...For example one can hypothize that a can of sardines can tie it's "aquatic" existence to the Egyptian Opening of The Mouth Ceremony and that the sardines location in a tin can is symbolic of it's soul's imprisonment only to make paradise when ending up on a snack plate which is a circular "orb" signifying 360 degrees of spirituality! So much mularkey..so much....Like Teflon anything sticks yet nothing sticks!

i found this essay online that describes the common myths about story "borrowing" or "stealing" as some would call it.. and this is the rules that the author detailed as to how one would figure out if a story had been borrowed/stolen:
~Similarity of general motifs is not enough to "prove anything"; we must have "complex structures" (e.g., 'system of deities', 'narrative structure'). ~Ideally, we would need to establish the historical link first, before looking for borrowings. ~Differences between structures/stories/complexes do not disprove influence, as long as the parallels are 'too numerous' and 'too striking'. ~Parallels must be 'striking' (i.e., unexpected, 'odd', difficult to account for).
~Some/many parallels/parallel motifs are superficial (i.e., identical on the surface), and 'prove nothing'. ~Parallels that can be used to support the possibility of influence need to be numerous. ~Parallels that can be used to support the possibility of influence need to be complex (i.e., with multiple parts and interrelationships).
~Parallels that can be used to support the possibility of influence need to be detailed.
~The details in alleged parallels must have the same "conceptual usage" reflected in them (e.g., they must be used with the same meaning).
~The parallels must have the same ' ideas underlying them'.
~The similar ideas in alleged parallels must be 'central features' in the material--and not just isolated or peripheral elements.
~Details which are completely unexpected (to the point of being unexplainable apart from borrowing) are strong evidence for borrowing
~Details which are almost irrelevant to the new context, but which have function in the old context are strong evidence for borrowing

seems like this is an awful lot of criteria for a book to be borrowed from.

I feel I need to add some info. here since I WAS THE ONE THAT USED THE WORD BORROW! hmmpph! Exodus 12.35 And the children of Israel did according to the word of Moses; and they borrowed of the Egyptians jewels of silver, and jewels of gold, and raiment:Okay the children of israel borrowed jewels of silver, gold and raiment. Now literally it means just that. But we know there is more to it then meets the "I". Lets cont... Exodus 32 3 And all the people brake off the golden earrings which were in their ears, and brought them unto Aaron. 4 And he received them at their hand, and fashioned it with a graving tool, after he had made it a molten calf: and they said, These be thy gods, O Israel, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.Again, this can be taken literally but there is more then meets the eye. Whats the point of all this ? Obviously the two scriptures are connected. THINK ABOUT IT. But remember, the jewels of gold were BORROWED from the egiptians.

Yunno!!! lol. Something that these amateurs lack is knowledge of the literary realm. But those supposing to know moor than what they know, or be moor than what they are or have been listening to way too many tapes and CDs by heretics make themselves feel as though they are the gatekeepers of higher knowledge when all they do is show that they gnow absosmurfly nothing at all. seems like this is an awful lot of criteria for a book to be borrowed from.

courtney I did but it [criteria] doesnt explain WHY the author used the word "BORROW" in the scripture. Why did the jews BORROW from the egiptians courtney. Here is the scripture I am referrin to... Exd 3:22 But every woman shall borrow of her neighbour, and of her that sojourneth in her house, jewels of silver, and jewels of gold, and raiment: and ye shall put [them] upon your sons, and upon your daughters; and ye shall spoil the Egyptians. Explain to me what and why were the borrowing. kah go back and read my post on the criteria

courtney the proof is in that scripture. It is telling you the jews BORROWED SILVER, GOLD and RAIMENT from the egiptians. And it goes further to tell you Aaron took these gold ornaments and made egiptian gods for the children of israel because they were the gods that delivered them out of egypt. Courtney, I am asking you what is the silver, gold and raiment, scripture wise ? no dear- you are the one trying to prove it was borrowed.. so the burden of proof is on you-not me.

coutney!! aaauuggghhh!!!! the answer is in the scripture. This is what the gold is, LOOK! -> Exd 32:4 And he received [them] at their hand, and fashioned it with a graving tool, after he had made it a molten calf: and they said, These [be] thy gods, O Israel, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt. I took the liberty of highliting the main crux of the scripture which alludes to the gods of egypt. that's for you to prove- not me.
