York will learn judge's plea ruling on July 29 By Rob Peecher Telegraph Staff Writer GRAY Ð Malachi York will know July 29 if his guilty plea to federal child sex charges and illegal financial transactions will be accepted by a judge or if he will stand trial. York pleaded guilty in January to transporting children across state lines for the purpose of having sex with them and to evading federal financial reporting requirements. He was scheduled to be sentenced at the end of May, but York's attorney asked for a 2-week postponement. The two weeks elapsed a week ago, and it remains unclear if York will be sentenced to spend 15 years in a federal prison as he and federal prosecutors agreed. "We're going to have a hearing on July 29 that will determine if the plea will go forward or not," said Manny Arora, one of York's attorneys. Arora said he met with York recently, and York expressed "confusion" to him. "When you've sort of reserved yourself as to what the plea agreements were and such things don't go forward the way you're expected, you're confused and want answers," Arora said. York, who is technically in federal custody but being housed at the Jones County Sheriff's Office, turns 58-years-old today. Since the early 1970s, York has been the leader of a cult group that began in Brooklyn. In 1993, York bought a 476-acre farm in Putnam County and began moving his followers from New York to Georgia. Jones County Sheriff Butch Reese said one of York's followers said he plans to hold a candlelight vigil tonight at the sheriff's office to honor York's birthday. "It's certainly unorganized. He said he would try to get the word out," Reese said. "We sort of expect a few people, but I'm not even sure anyone will show up." Reese said he asked York about it, and York claimed not to know about the candlelight vigil. "He said it sounded like somebody trying to make a name for themselves," Reese said. "(York) said he didn't see any need for one." In addition to pleading guilty to the federal charges, York also pleaded guilty to 77 state counts of molesting children, influencing witnesses and child sexual exploitation. According to the plea agreements, York was to spend 15 years in federal prison. Though he agreed to a 50-year state sentence, only 14 years were to be served in confinement and would run concurrently with the federal incarceration. The woman referred to by York's followers as his "main wife" was indicted with York and pleaded guilty in April to a lesser charge of having knowledge of a crime and not reporting it. Johnson also faces state charges. York's followers, known as the United Nuwaubian Nation of Moors, were involved in lengthy and public litigation with Putnam County over violations of the county's zoning ordinance.

Another bias anti-nuwaubian article from Rob Preecher. In particular, no mention of Dr. York replacing his Lawyer, a crucial element in why he accepted this bullshit ass plea bargin. During his guilty plea, York was asked if he was satisfied with his attorneys, and York said yes he was. Manny Aurora is an attorney for Ed Garlands law firm, and Garland is a high profile attorney. In some hearings Garland would attend, in others Aurora would attend....usually due to scheduling. If this goes to trial, it will cost both sides a great deal of money. Keep in mind, the money for the prosecution is there---it was seized from York. Over $400,000.00 in which onlly around $100,000.00 will be used for victim restitution. Restitution has not been distributed as of yet since York's guilty plea hasn't been accepted. I told you this would happen---below is a news article for you: The Atlanta Journal-Constitution W.A. Bridges Jr. / AJC Dwight York made a deal with the feds for a guilty plea, but a judge REJECTED ITA federal judge has rejected the plea bargain in the Dwight York child molestation case, making it possible for York to demand a trial on charges to which he has already pleaded guilty. U.S. District Court Judge Hugh Lawson struck down the deal made between federal prosecutors and York's attorneys. The ruling was made public Thursday. Lawson set a hearing on the case for Monday in Macon. Defense attorneys said the action raises new legal issues. "Everybody knows he's pled guilty, so it's going to be hard for him to get a fair trial," said Atlanta attorney Manny Arora, who represents York. York, 58, was the leader of a pseudo-religious group called the United Nuwaubian Nation of Moors. The group was based on a 400-acre farm in rural Putnam County, but it recruited members through a network of bookshops throughout the major cities of Georgia and other states. On Jan. 23, York pleaded guilty in federal court to one count of transporting children across state lines for the purpose of illegal sex and to one count of illegally structuring cash transactions. The next day, he pleaded guilty in state court in Putnam County to 77 counts related to child molestation. As part of the plea bargain, state and federal prosecutors agreed to recommend that York be given a prison sentence that would make him eligible for parole in approximately 12 years. Lawson said he could not discuss the reasons for his rejection order. Arora said York's deal with state prosecutors remains in place, as far as he is concerned. However, he added, the plan of the agreement was for the federal case to proceed before the state case. At the hearing Monday, York will be asked to announce his decision on whether to withdraw his guilty plea, Arora said. If he decides to go to trial, that would cause problems for both sides, Arora said. "Some of their witnesses are gone; some of our witnesses are gone," he said. "The expenses would be outrageous." Also, Arora would likely move for another change of venue. The state case had been set for trial in Covington, but a new trial would have to be held "way farther away," he said. ****************** So, basically he can demand a trial...but our sources (which have proven themselves thus far) have told us that York definitely does not want to go to trial. Our sources also have told us that much of this is a bid to force Kathy Johnson to come forth and speak out against York. It was her son, who was 4 at the time it began, who alledged that York sodomized him over the course of several years. In his plea, he stated he sodomized Isa, who is Kathy's son, while she watched. That bit will be used against Kathy, and her only 'hope' is to use the victim defense---that she was forced into this lifestyle. Remember, she is of poor health, having multiple sclerosis. And, they have in their possesion as evidence, a letter that York kept, from Kathy that she will do ANYTHING he wanted. You will doubt what I say Nuwaubian Hotep---but again, my sources have proven themselves thus far.

What I wanna know is why haven't the wife of York spoken to the U.N.N.M ? Wasn't she released on bail for quite some time now ?
I really don't follow this stuff but what is really perplexing me is, she of all people can quell all these speculations. Why aint she come forth ?
Does she have some gag order on her ?

Kathy York has never spoken to the nation, even in good times. You know why? Because as a good wife, she knows her place. She knows that it is the Master's place to address his nation.
If you guys remember, he spoke about this hour back on the "Elohim & New Covenant" Tapes
Have you notice how the dates the master asked us to watch for, the devil raided us a year before may 5th 2003. Does that have and ear, hear
