Who is he? Really? Anis Shorrosh a Palestinian Christian who wrote the book ISLAM UNVEILED years ago said he Dhu-l-qarnain was Alexander the Great. While in Maulana Muhammad Ali's commentary he said he was a Persian king Darius I Hystaspes. Whose right y'all? Read Surah 18:83- 101.
SURAH 18: 94 They said : O Dhu-l-qarnain, Gog and Magog do mischief in the land. May we then pay thee tribute on condition that thou raise a barrier between us and them?
Maulana Muhammad Ali's translation

my arabic glossary for Dhul-Qarnain says that he waqs a great ruler inthe past who ruled all over the world. Thats from the noble qur'an by dr. muhammad muhsin khan. The majority of muslims today say that all ali interpretations of qur'an are tampered with. They say every thing is tampered with except their "holy" hadiyth

U know Zecheria Sitchin mentions Dhu-l-qarnain in his book THE STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN pgs. 8-9. He claims that story of Moses coming down from Mt. Sinai "with rays" or "horns" was mixed with Alexander the Great "The Double Horns" cause he portrayed as having ram's horns on sum coins. Sitchin says that both Moses and Alexander left Egypt by parting the waters and letting their followers cross on foot on dry land. Legend had Alexander parting the sea by "building in its midst a wall of molten lead, and his masons continued to pour lead and molten matter into the water until the structure rose above its surface. Then he built upon it a tower and a pillar, upon which he carved his own figure, having two horns upon his head." I think he got the idea for his horns from RA.

I am very fond of Zecraria Sitchens writings, I have his collection.. but.. what I would like to know is out of all of the Egyptian artifacts and monuments that the Rosicrucians have at their complex/museum, why do they have this statue of Alexander in the middle of their court yard accross from a statue of Isis.. (Isis not shown) I took this pic myself, notice that they have placed the statue in a 6 pointed star .

I dig Zecheria as well. Well from what Ive read about Alexander he considered himself a God & a Champion of The Mysteries particularly the Egyptian school including being a fulfiller of Bible prophecy concerning The Messiah. He road into Jerusalem on a donkey after he heard about a prophecy about the coming King the Jews were expecting. Zecheriah 9:9 Rejoice greatly, O Daughter of Zion! Shout, Daughter of Jerusalem! See, your king comes to you righteous and having salvation gentle and riding a donkey on a colt, the foal of a donkey. The Rosicrucians no doubt want to achieve this very thing Alexander did. Master all mysteries and world dominion. Part of that NWO thang. Where was this picture taken?

I took the picture at the Rosecrucian museum in San Jose, California. If you ever make it out there, to the San Francisco Bay area, San Jose is only 45mins away. The museum is worth the trip, it takes up a whole city block. The only thing is that you can't take pictures inside of the museum or in their tombs (which i was so temped to get kicked out over snapping some shots in there) but they will give you a tour. They have all kind of artifacts and mummies, egyptian and sumerian artfacts too. They have their ritual buildings that the public is not allowed into. It's a very beautiful place to visit.

Wow! Ive been to San Francisco 3 times but I never made it to Oakland or San Jose. If I'd known about the museum then I definately wouldve made the trip. I was last out that way in 89' its been awhile. I wanna go back soon. I lived in San Diego for 3 years in the late 80's. I know where to get the Rosicrucian magazine, and I'll see about gettin' out there. Thanx.
