I found this poll on beliefnet.com.. thought i would pose the same question to our members and see what we come up with.

I voted yes that I do support the ammendment. I agree 100% with bush on that one. That is just disgusting!!! Besides, there are other ways of "getting married" legally with the use of an affidavit. I say marriage should be preserved for it's original use, let us look to our Model's Adam and Eve.

I dont agree with same sex marriage- for myself.. but i have a hard time saying that it is my business what others do.. i mean if you allow this ammendment.. then what's next?? you can only marry ppl of your own race.. that's the part that scares me.. you give the goverment and inch and they take a mile. well Im partially for it. What I mean is I am all for woman to woman marriage. But not man to man. I guess I can't participate in the poll  . |

I think that is just sick  .. same sex marriages n all.. Here's a tid bit.. I used to work with this lesbian couple (some paramedics) and they got married in some sort of faux ceremony .. And i guess it was beyond my comprehension that I had to ask them who wore the tux and who wore the dress.. LOL They both wore the dresses.. It was too bad though that they decided to have a child together through invitro (a boy). They ultimately wound up fighting for custody and the natural mother won. Oh, and then the natural mother went straight again.. go figure.. LOL |
