Question How did Malachi York get the ""El"" on his name. Did he really join the Moorish Science Temple of America? If so what Temple and What Year did he do that?

I don't know which temple, but the year was 1973 according to the card I saw.

From the research I have done! I had his "translation" of the Holy Koran Circle seven! And he mentioned that he gained "info" from brothers out of Baltimore known as "Dingle-El" and some others! I do not know what temple he supposedly belongs to! But he gives a little background in his "translation" of the HKCS of who he was in contact with! I belong to Sub. Temple #18 in Syracuse, New York! What temple is your grandfather a"faithful" member of, I remember you mentioned that he was still active in the Temple!

I find it hard to believe that Dr. York would join the Moorish Science Temple of America in 1973 if he was suppose to of started his movement in 68'-69 as the Ansar Pure Sufi, according to him. I know some elders that are/were part of the Oldest Temple in New York in Brooklyn, I'll Varifiy.
And Denhan El, My grandfather was part of a Temple in Pennsylvania. I will try and get the temple number later from family members.

Peace Bro. Denham El, I know for a fact it was not the reincarnated temples. My grandfather is very elderly and is being taken care of in the country by a family member.

O.K. , All Is Well brotherman, maybe I can assist you in some research, I have listings of the Prophet's Temple, that he "birthed"! As I am sure you know there was a "three way split" (Kirkman-Bey, Sheik Davis FORD-El/Robert Poole-Bey(Elijah Muhammad) and John Givens-El) in science (3 generations)! Prophet Muhammad of 1400 yrs ago said "Three genrations after him would no t be of him" very prophetic as that was the same thing that happened to our Holy and Divine Prophet Drew ALI! He also tore the temple down(Olde Canaanite Temple) and rebuilt in three days the years of 1925-1928 (Three days) in science!

Hold On Now-- You say you saw it yourself and it said "M". York-El. Now from my observation-Back in 73' he NEVER went by the NAME-MALACHI. Thats something NEW, like in the 1990's. I know he was known as Isa abdullah and Isa Al-Haadi Al Mahdi in 1973. I know his birth name is Dwight York. I just find it funny that he would tell his congregation and the World that he is a MOOR nowadays with "El" in his name and then says in his Book-"Who was Noble Drew Ali(88')-that "You are not El or Bey,you are Abdullah." That book is out of print. However, come to the land and see if you can get a reprint. for more insight check out these books: Muslims creed tue or false, the religion islam unmasked, of course the 360 series books, muhammad a hebrew, etc. Some these can be ordered online. As a whole it is obvious that we are not addressing most of the claims across the internet. Right now we are focusing on getting Maku out. He has told us when he is out, the record will be set str8.
