Can you name some good things Dr. Malachi Z. York-El has done for our cummunity or world? Is it all bad in your eyes? I just want your opinions or thoughts...

i think that would be better asked of nuwaubian supporters.. those of us here who have openly expressed disdain for York (or as you call York-haters) are going to be hard pressed to think of something good he has done.. Carter.. you aren't going to change minds here.. it's clear to us what sort of "man" he is.. and i dont think we are going to convince you either.. it's just one of those things you will have to see for yourself. Can you name some good things Dr. Malachi Z. York-El has done for our cummunity or world? Is it all bad in your eyes? I just want your opinions or thoughts... Im going to keep it real. If it wassnt for those books, I really dont know where I would be today. KRS-1 was ths spark but the Ansaar books was the fire.
The reason why I say the Books was and not York is because
1) I dont know if he wrote those books all by himself ( I really doubt that now
and
2) York never taught me anything personally.
It was the books.

i dont hate the man cause I wasnt part of that movement and all the "alleged" ills done by him hurting many of his followers aint affect me in a direct way. But I can say this, he has bestowed knowledge upon many who adhere to his teaching (though there are some misleads, falsehoods and untruths in his teachings but that applies to most if not all conscious groups).

True Facts...
Years ago the Ansaar Days (1988) I struck up a conversation with an Ansaar in New York City(Penn station)as I awaited an Amtrak train. I've seen the Ansaars (those dressed in white) before yet most never appealed to me as good examples ...Yet this brother seem to represent his Jalabiyaa was white and his pedigree was up to code! Well we conversed for hrs until my train approached and I was fascinated with his constant referral to his "teacher" as a source of Great wisdom...Well as I left he gave me a book for free Leviathan 666 and a Mahdi flag after breaking down it was a real flag...Well needless to say I jumped on the train cracked open that book and no lie was I amazed! So many thoughts I had about this "whack' society was being broken down where I could connect...After that I remember seeing a brother who always set-upshop near my job I was working on Wall Street at a major brokerage at the time and inquired about Islaam and bought some books! Well the Ansaar told me there "teacher" came on WWRL 1600 AM a radio station outta Brooklyn and since at the time I resided in Jersey I caught the show (had a faint signal) and listened to Imaam isa Al Haadi Al Mahdi drop information to a brother/questioner who had questions about "other worldly experiences" yet this "teacher" had answers! What blew me away was the brother had "damn near" the exact experiences I had yet shared with no one...After that I ran into the brother/Ansaar near Wall Street and told how amazed i was at this session...Well the Brother gave me 3 tapes "Angelic Descendants on Earth, Are You Cherubim & Seraphim & "Who and what Are You"! Imaam Isa broke down to the letter experiences that was SOOO personal to me I knew he had facts! (That portion from those days has not changed) What has changed is York fell on his sword thru ego & is accountable. Yet, he helped ME at that time a Great Deal to know my "gifts" were that SPECIAL! The true light Tape series ARE superior to anything produced in the last 10 tears! Those who caught the Georgia "York" are clueless to the devoutness he ONCE had when "HE CAME UP"!

I personally don't hate York, I hate what he did to the community, especially to the women and children. As far as the information he did the best he could do, especially with trying to abridge everything out there into a coherent picture for readers. It's sad that was just his 'game' to extort money from blacks. I do 'BELIEVE' take that which is good, and re-new your mind, be TRANSFORMED, do not be reform or conform to this world.

His books were interesting and did make you research other things. When you found out what he stated in his books was"suspect" then you had no other choice but to put his books in a trunk for a rainy day. Now the Tents of Kedar incense and oils were the shit! As far as the "Al-Mahdi" soaps, I did not waste my money. When his book "Secret Societies Unmasked" came out, I had turned a few friends onto the book. Then York disappeared. The next thing I see him dressed as a mason. After calling Secret Societies the devil,etc., that drew the line in the sand. He reminded me of Dr. Phibes, Talkin out the back of his neck..:  |

All the information in the books were available to the ardent researcher. the only good for me is that I cannot be played anymore. I wont completely knock his efforts only when he abused his authority. I think 'vanity' was his downfall  |
