okay Master9, I pulled up the report. I highlited a portion which is reference to what youre talking about. And let me say this - YOU EMBELLISHED your story Master9 which leads me to believe you have AN AGENDA (pro'lly disinformation against the prosection of York). So from this day foward my brother, I will question your impartiality when presenting any information regarding the case. The NXT POST HAS the info pertaining to the events yesturday with York's lawyer asking the judge to step down and an alleged vicitim who originally denied the molestation and the plot to take down York.

Attorney claims bias by judge in York case

Telegraph Staff Writer
Fireworks erupted Friday in the federal child molestation trial of
cult leader Malachi York when his defense attorney angrily accused
the judge of bias for the prosecution and asked that he remove
himself from the case.
U.S. District Court Judge Ashley Royal, however, said he would not
step down.
Also Friday, a 16-year-old girl testified that York began having sex
with her when she was 12 and that it didn't stop until he was
arrested three years later.
Adrian Patrick, York's attorney, asked that Royal remove himself
following a conference at the judge's bench. Patrick asked for the
jury to be excused, then stood before the judge and accused him of
making an improper suggestion to assistant U.S. Attorney Richard
Moultrie.
"The court prompted the government to introduce evidence," Patrick
told the judge in a raised voice.
The conference involved a medical report on a male witness who
testified that York molested him repeatedly as a child. The report
indicated that the witness originally denied being molested, but
both the witness and FBI agent Joan Cronier said the report was
wrong. Patrick said Royal prompted the prosecution to introduce
another section of the report.
"The court is overstepping its bounds," Patrick said.
"I can present evidence," Royal responded. "I can question
witnesses. You are incorrect in that."
Outside the courtroom, Middle District U.S. Attorney Max Wood called
Patrick's demand "totally without merit."
Moultrie questioned the male witness about a section of the report
that indicated he was getting the exam because of concerns of
diseases related to the York case.
Five children were taken into protective custody when local and
federal officers raided the Putnam County village where York and his
followers lived in May 2002. According to authorities, four of five
children tested positive for sexually transmitted diseases.
The 16-year-old girl who testified Friday was the youngest of the
alleged victims to take the stand so far. Her brother, the first
alleged male victim to testify, took the witness stand Thursday.
The girl admitted that she at one time denied being molested.
Patrick pointed out that in her original interview, when
investigators asked if she knew why she was being interviewed, she
responded, "Because of the lies they have been saying about Mr.
York."
She said she gave that statement because she was scared and had been
warned not to talk about sexual activity with York. She recanted
several months later.
Her testimony was followed by that of an 18-year-old male, the
younger brother of the first two alleged female victims to testify.
He was the witness on the stand when Patrick asked Royal to recuse
himself. The witness said York began to behave sexually toward him
when he was 7, and molestations continued for years afterward. He
left York's Putnam County compound in 2001 with his mother and
sisters, he said, when his mother found out about sexual activity
between her children and York.
He admitted to a meeting with his father, York defense attorney
Manny Aurora and a defense investigator during which he denied being
molested. He said he did so because he feared his mother could face
charges if the allegations came out.
In all, five people took the witness stand this week and said York
molested them repeatedly. They all said the molestations began at a
young age, gradually evolved to intercourse, continued regularly for
a number of years and often involved other children and adults.
But with most of the witnesses, Patrick pointed out inconsistencies
between their testimony and previous statements. After court Friday,
Patrick said the inconsistencies are significant to the defense.
"I think the way it was set up, the defendant was going to come into
court and get slaughtered," he said. "It seems as if the witnesses
are changing their stories. I see substantial inconsistencies."
Wood, however, said he was pleased with the first week of testimony.
"It's not unusual in child molestation cases to have inconsistent
evidence because you are dealing with children," he said. "We'll
have more than the victims' testimony."
Two witnesses have identified what they described as a sex toy, a
stuffed Pink Panther with male genitalia sewed on it. An FBI agent
testified earlier that the item was found in York's bedroom.
York, 58, is facing 13 counts of child molestation and racketeering.
He is head of the United Nuwabian Nation of Moors, a quasi-religious
sect which moved to a 467-acre neo-Egyptian compound in Putnam
County in 1993.
The group has changed form several times from its beginnings as a
Muslim group in Brooklyn, N.Y. The group dressed as cowboys when it
moved to Putnam County, and has most recently dressed as American
Indians, claiming to be an Indian tribe and York a chief. He has
also claimed to be an angel and alien from the planet "Rizq."
The trial will resume Monday, and prosecutors expect to finish their
case by Thursday or Friday. Patrick said the defense will call
witnesses to refute not only the molestation allegations, but also
the testimony of the alleged victims about squalid living conditions
on the compound.

They admitted to recanting their stories DURING THE COURSE OF THE INVESTIGATIONS out of fear. That is common considering Nuwaubians were on a rampage to disclose the names of the wittnesses! However, now that the day is here--that it is time to give testimony in front of York, jurors, judge, media and so forth--they are standing by their stories!

We all knew prior to this coming to trial that this girl and this boy had once denied the abuse. Question is, what brought them back?! All false things will parish--the false thing in this case is when they said it did NOT happen. That was the lie--they are now telling the truth and standing by it. Master9, nobody broke down on the stand. What you are realizing when you come on this board is those who are reading the were there! No, I am not saying me  However, we have amongst us someone who is right there daily as this trial takes place. So, when you come on here half cocked with "someone broke down on the stand", your gonna get busted out. Now--let's go to York's attorney. I suppose it never crossed your mind that this man gets paid whether York wins or loses. All York wanted was an attorney willing to help make this trial a mockery of justice. Raising his voice at the judge and trying to tell the judge what his duties are or are not. York's attorney isn't defending him, he is there to merely intimidate the wittnesses. That is York's only defense--STRIKE FEAR. These wittnesses are admitting their lies told during the investigation. They are ADMITTING it...doesn't that show you something. Knock-knock---IS ANYBODY HOME MASTER9? They are up there facing the jury saying "yes, we initially denied being molested by this man...at that time we were afraid...but we are no longer afraid of him" That is what is happening! |

Listen, I am tryin to be as objective as possible. And I thought since you are up in the inner circle and "seemed" to be one who presented the FACTS , I didnt have to question the alterior motivation behind it. And I could take it for face value. Do I accept the white man's version without question ? NO but if the news source has an established reputoir then I am leaning towards an impartial report , with reservation of course. It just struck me, when you first posted that reply I was like man! thats a BREAKING NEWS! but then I try to corroborate it and stumble upon a news article where you OBVIOUSLY TWISTED it to suit your need, what did you expect from me ? Is a brother's word as bond as the pale man ? Brother, the one closer to you is more suspect! remember what York and others say ? I know when soemone speaks ill of Maku that offends you as it does me as well. However, you are to intelligent to be debating or going back and forth with those of this board. Theres nothing wrong with trying to find the truth about what's going on, but obviously there are people here who will always verse you because they have something against our Maku. You know the truth. You know what the real is. You know whats really going on. Be a member of this board but be not of it. Your surrounded by people who are "anti-york" or "anti-nuwaubian" as some say. When you keep responding to these post you your setting yourself up. Don't start anything you can't finish. That wasn't to insult you but to help you realize that if you leave, they will no longer have a real purpose. Wherever we go they will follow. "The master and the Pet." LOL---This was 1Dell's board for YEARZ--and he always been outspoken againt York. 1Dell is visiting the UNNM board, no doubt--I've read his postings, but key point--he been advertising his shit up in there--sending a link to this board.  I will note that York has been quite the subject of talk on this board--perhaps even from day 1--however, nowhere in the introduction does this board claim to be an "anti-York/anti-Nuwaubian" board. There are way more topics of interest not dealing with York or Nuwaubians. There are forums here for health, business, poetry, movies, Islam, even 1 set aside for Nuwaubians...That was an open invitation--you guys came HERE, so please don't try that 'wherever we go, they follow' crap this way. You can tell by the postings this isn't a "free Maku" site, but you still come. Whether you post or not--you come, you read, you have been affected  |
