From my "source" on the inside of things,:
Sorry for this delay, but we went straight to dinner after we left the
courthouse.
The jury got the case just before lunch today. They probably didn't
deliberate until after they finished their noon meal. After being in the
jury room for a couple of hours, we were summoned back to the courtroom and
the jury asked for a copy of "The Holy Tablets" (basically the Nuwaubian
bible, written by York, and it explains about how York is God and the whole
planet Rizque thing). We tried to get the book into evidence, but the
judge, of course, would not allow it. The judge told them they could not
see and the returned to deliberate more. At 5:00 PM the jury came back and
announced that they would like to retire for the evening. They have not
been sequestered until now.
I don't know exactly what to think of this. I have never seen a jury do
this. The judge told them just before they went out that they could stay as
long into the evening as they wished. Maybe they want a few more meals and
a night on the government. I just don't know.
I will keep you posted.

Either cult leader Malachi York used his organization to supply him with girls for sex, or he's the victim of a conspiracy by former members who want to bring him down.
That was the word from attorneys in closing arguments today at York's trial, which went to the jury this afternoon.
The 58-year-old York is on trial in U-S District Court for 13 counts of child molestation and racketeering. He's accused of transporting girls from his commune in New York to his
neo-Egyptian compound in rural Georgia to molest them.
The jury began deliberating the case this afternoon but recessed after three-and-one-half hours without reaching a verdict. They asked one question -- whether they could see a book of York's writings called The Holy Tablet -- but the judge refused because it hadn't been entered into evidence.
Prosecutors outlined their case against York, summing up the testimony of 14 girls and boys who said York molested them from 1998 through 2002. They showed part of a pornographic cartoon found at the compound and attempted to discredit the idea that the charges were trumped up by girls angry at being ousted from the sect.
Seven witnesses said on the stand that York did not molest them. Some said the molestation accusations were part of a concocted conspiracy by York's son to frame his father.
Defense attorney Adrian Patrick displayed a chart that tried to connect York's son, Jacob York, with all the victims who testified against York. Patrick said "Jacob York has a vendetta against his father."
Defense witnesses said Jacob York hated his father because York wouldn't pay for his musical career.
Patrick also questioned whether it was physically possible for York to have so much sex with the alleged victims who testified. He added up the number of times they said York molested them to show that he would have been having sex with them 121 times a month from 1993 to 2001.

I hear ya bros. but I am gonna have to disagree. "Maku" is a bigger fish to fry so to speak. So the molech in him is by far more of an arch type then the laymen's. He is not an average joe schmoe ya know. HE LEADS A FLOCK. You say you think this is why people are attracted to nuwaubu . In part you are correct but why am I saying this ? To me bottom line, the case is more and more lookin like guilt. But the verdict ain't in yet so we shall see. Another thing I hear nuwaubians do is compare this case to the persecution of other black leaders. Let me ask you something, what if the allegations are true. Because the system has persecuted many black leaders in the past and present does not mean ALL BLACK LEADERS ARE PERSECUTED WRONGFULLY. Don't forget that universal principle, Wolves can come in sheep clothing. And one more thing. The nuwaubians (including MZY) put themselves out there bros. For years they've gone out of their way to bash religions and religious peeps. I know cause I used to be one of the religious minded peeps who battled with them in my Hebrew Israelites dayz. Maybe theyre now reaping what they sowed - people (religious , non-religious) bashing them. Heck! if ICUPK (My former righteous school) aint exempt, why should they ?

Satiyah you must think I have not seen York in the flesh before....I have seen his hair in various styles in the past on Tamare and in other places. Hey Nar, that isn't York's hair, it is Nin Sacajawea-El's. The sister's in the office was always "doc"tering up photos using a photo shop program.  |

LOL--I put that post out there to get Balkis to speak up, which she did--see, you (and I) have SEEN his hair--she's touched it The man permed his hair. Relaxed. Fried, dyed, and laid to the side. When it would get too gray, he'd darken it. When he wanted it all gray, he lightened it. Now that he has been incarcerated and unable to use those chemicals, we see he is a salt and pepper shade. |
