baalZebub - God of those who fly in dreams...

Baal'Zebub was the god of all who fly [in the city of Ekron] - the winged creatures. He is also known as Lord of dreams (sorta like Morpheus in the Matrix) which makes the connection between flying and flying within dreams.

It seems Joseph was considered this form of deity in his lifetime; Lord of dreams. [Ref., Gen 37. 19]

Gen 37:19 And they said one to another, Behold, this dreamer [baal Ha-khal'muth] cometh.

I took the liberty of inserting in red brackets the original hebrew word used in place of dreamer.

Jehovah [yhwh] G-d belonged to the baalim host .

1Ch 12:5 Eluzai, and Jerimoth, and Bealiah, and Shemariah, and Shephatiah the Haruphite,

Bealiah - Jah [yahoveh] is a baal.

And is it not written Jahovah rideth upon the wing of a cherub to fly - an attribute of Baal'Zebub (flying).

Psa 18:10 And he rode upon a cherub, and did fly: yea, he did fly upon the wings of the wind.
