1dell come on man! the reason a distinction was made between David, Solomon, the Nazarites from the rest of the nation is the same way caucasians hold blond blue eyes in higher esteem. David, solomon and the nazarites stood out because they were the "blond blue eyed" of their day and time in their nation.

Dayum you rigth bro, I sure didn't do that. But funk it, let's do it now: I don't like your translations bro, here ya go: Lam 5:10 Our skin was black like an oven because of the terrible famine. Uor'nu K'tenor n'K'mero M'peni Z'lupot r'ub Our Nakedness was similar to the oven's black face because of the heat of the famine. Come on Kah. nice try shawdy. everybody knows heat makes a bruva black ass hell. And the metal that was used for ovens would turn black over prolonged used from the burning materials leaving soot and charcoal coating. U mentioned Lam 5.10 but my long time Cybro., you aint verify the hebrew to make sure the english "black" used is referencing skin colour. Let go to the hebrew... Lam 5.10, owr'nu k'thanur n'kamaru m'peni zal'aphut ra'ab Lam 5.10, our skin was becoming hot like a furnace [from] facing the terrible hunger Where you screwed up bros. is the KJV has a poor translation from using the word "black". The hebrew word in question is Kamar which is not the same as SHACHAR (black as in colour). Kamar means to "grow hot".

Lam 5:10 Our skin was black like an oven because of the terrible famine. I'd like to look at this from a medical stand point... famine causes lots of things to go wrong in ones body and when you get sick, your immune system breaks down, and the biggest part of our immune system is our skin.. "During starvation the body is not receiving protein, which means that enzymes and hormones are not being produced properly. This leads to a number of health issues. Impotence in men is normal due to the body not producing enough testosterone. Women usually stop menstruating and puberty is delayed. Due to the wasting away of the tissues around the orbits, many peoples eyes will stick start to stick out. The skin becomes dry and inelastic. Dark pigmentation can start to appear on the face and trunk, it is probably caused by a glandular disturbance. Abnormal growth of hair on the arms and back is also a common feature found in children, and is probably also due to a glandular disturbance. Possibly the worst effect of starvation is the failure of the digestive enzymes. This is one of the causes of the intractable diarrhoea, which is found in so many famine victims. There are other causes that make diarrhoea so prevalent among famine victims. Famine victims are usually so desperate for food that they will eat just about anything from bugs to sawdust. Many of these foods cannot be digested so they are rejected by the body and irritate the intestinal walls on their way out. Another cause of the diarrhoea is that the intestines themselves have been depleted due to a lack of nutrition. Anaemia and serious vitamin deficiencies also lead to serious health problems."

Kat, the translation youre relying on is innacurate. its suppose to say this : Lam 5.10, our skin was becoming hot like a furnace [from] facing the terrible hunger. The reason they were gettin the brunt of sunlite on their skin is because of the famine, forcing them to toil more hrs. in the heat to scrounge for food. Just read the scripture prior to it and it will put everything in perspective. Lam 5:9 We gat our bread with [the peril of] our lives because of the sword of the wilderness. Not sayin the health aspect you just dropped didnt apply. I just want to show you that verse has nothin to do with the description of color. I'd like to look at this from a medical stand point... famine causes lots of things to go wrong in ones body and when you get sick, your immune system breaks down, and the biggest part of our immune system is our skin.. I am so glad they mention rubies here. Tell me ONE dayum white person that is as red as a ruby? Show me ONE palestinian that is as red as a ruby bru Here is a pic of a carved ruby incase you forgot the color of a ruby since you wanna be all specific like these people are refering to the ACTUAL color: Dude I think you are missing my point. They are not saying these people are these ACTUAL colors. To different regions of the world, they related skin color to different things. Ruddy in Europe could be Santa Claus' complextion, Ruddy in Mexico will be seen differently. We already have geographical proof that the hebrews were brown in color, So we can use US as black people as an example of how we use the word red or for when we refer to "redbones". I have went around asking different people what complextion they think I am. Because I am so used to people calling me dark skin and now they don't call me dark skin no moor, they say I am red. What da??? Besides your argument about why Are certain people singled out for being red if EVERY ONE was red aint strong enough bro. Out of all the people in the bible only 2 are mentioned as being red: Esau/David/Solomon and of the 3, 2 are father and son. come on bro. Obviously Being "Red" was a unique thing different from everyone else. Like I said, According to the Murals in Egypt the ANCIENT hebrews were Brown in color. We ARE talkinga bout ANCIENT hebrews. lets start with Lam 4.7, the description of the nazarites with a translation. Lam 4.7, Zaku naziriah m'shelag tsachu m'chalab adamu etsem m'panipaim capir gizrathem Lam 4.7, The Nazirites [are] cleaner then snow, lighter then milk, their bodies more pale then [red] rubbies - set apart and numbered. Dont seem dark like negroe to me.

I must have the wrong version of the bible because my bible says in Lamentations 5: 10, "Our skin is as hot as an oven, Because of the fever of famine." That means that they were sick not getting burned by the sun. They were starving.

Hmmm... to the interpretation. But one thing for sure, it aint talkin bout no COLOUR!!!! I'd say they were experiencing severe heat exhaustian because of the exposure to the sun. LIke a heat stroke. And another thing, in order for them to get this ill influence from the heat, they had to have been outdoors. Ask yourself why were they outdoors ? I must have the wrong version of the bible because my bible says in Lamentations 5: 10, "Our skin is as hot as an oven, Because of the fever of famine." That means that they were sick not getting burned by the sun. They were starving.
