Lilith was first wife of Zakar, the original Adam. She was considered his equal because both were created at the same time and from the same source. Here is the verse... Genesis 1.27, So Elohiym created Adam in his own image, in the image of God created he him; Zakar and Neqabah created he them.Neqabah is the lilitu. According to the legend, Lilith refused to submit to Adam and as a result the marriage was dissolved. She fled into the wilderness where she would spend the rest of eternity copulating with unsuspecting, sleeping men. There is more to the legend. I will post further on the subject. This was an intro. to the hebrew demoness/goddess.

Some history on Lilith...
The Story of Lilith The Alphabet of Ben Sira
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Untitled © 1996 Asher Humm. [....] Soon afterward the young son of the king took ill, Said Nebuchadnezzar, "Heal my son. If you don't, I will kill you." Ben Sira immediately sat down and wrote an amulet with the Holy Name, and he inscribed on it the angels in charge of medicine by their names, forms and images, and by their wings, hands, and feet. Nebuchadnezzar looked at the amulet. "Who are these?" "The angels who are in charge of medicine: Snvi, Snsvi, and Smnglof. After God created Adam, who was alone, He said, 'It is not good for man to be alone' (Gen. 2:18). He then created a woman for Adam, from the earth, as He had created Adam himself, and called her Lilith. Adam and Lilith began to fight. She said, 'I will not lie below,' and he said, 'I will not lie beneath you, but only on top. For you are fit only to be in the bottom position, while am to be in the superior one.' Lilith responded, 'We are equal to each other inasmuch as we were both created from the earth.' But they would not listen to one another. When Lilith saw this, she pronounced the Ineffable Name and flew away into the air. Adam stood in prayer before his Creator: 'Sovereign of the universe!' he said, 'the woman you gave me has run away.' At once, the Holy One, blessed be He, sent these three angels to bring her back.
"Said the Holy One to Adam, 'If she agrees to come back, fine. If not she must permit one hundred of her children to die every day.' The angels left God and pursued Lilith, whom they overtook in the midst of the sea, in the mighty waters wherein the Egyptians were destined to drown. They told her God's word, but she did not wish to return. The angels said, 'We shall drown you in the sea.'
"'Leave me!' she said. 'I was created only to cause sickness to infants. If the infant is male, I have dominion over him for eight days after his birth, and if female, for twenty days.'
"When the angels heard Lilith's words, they insisted she go back. But she swore to them by the name of the living and eternal God: 'Whenever I see you or your names or your forms in an amulet, I will have no power over that infant.' She also agreed to have one hundred of her children die every day. Accordingly, every day one hundred demons perish, and for the same reason, we write the angels' names on the amulets of young children. When Lilith sees their names, she remembers her oath, and the child recovers."

I think you missed a few things here so i guess ill point them out for you. GENISIS 2:18 And God went on to say: It is not good for the man to continue by himself. I am going to make a helper for him, as a complement of him. 2:19 Now God was forming from the ground every wild beast of the field and every flying creature of the heavens, and he began bringing them to the man to see what he would call each one: and whatever the man would call it, each living sou, that was its name. notice the name ADAM NORE LILITH IS USED IN ANY VERSE IN CHAPTER 2 WHICH LEADS ME TO BELIEVE THAT THE Quote THE MAN IS NOT TALKING ABOUT ADAM.....AND FOR SURE I DONT SEEE THE NAME OR SPIRIT LILITH HERE..... ALSO NOTICE ADAM WASNT INTRODUCED UNTIL THE 3RD CHAPTER VERSE 17. AND TO ADAM HE SAID: BECAUSE YOU LISTENED TO YOUR WIFE'S VOICE AND TOOK TO EATING FROM THE TREE CONCERNING WHICH I GAVE YOU THIS COMMAND , YOU MUST NOT EAT ITS PRODUCE ALL THE DAYS OF YOUR LIFE. WITH ADAM THEIR WERE BOUNDS SET FOR HIM OR LIMITATIONS BUT FOR THE FIRST CREATION MAN/WOMAN MIRRORED REFLECTIVE BEING THEY HAD NO LIMITATION AND IT WAS GIVEN THIS BEING TO NAME NAMES ........SAYING WHAT EVER THE MAN WOULD CALL IT WOULD BE ITS NAME..... SO HE THE MAN NAMED THE TREE CALLING IT THE TREE OF KNOWLEDGE OF GOOD AND BAD OR GOOD AND EVIL. ADAM DIDNT HAVE THAT AUTHORITY...... Some history on Lilith... To all concerned I write, My translations are for the most part supported by the Ivriy kathab (hebrew scripture). The first encounter of Lilith's name in the Old testament is the book of Isaiah... Isaiah 34.14, The wild beasts of the desert shall also meet with the wild beasts of the island, and the satyr shall cry to his fellow; the screech owl also shall rest there, and find for herself a place of rest. In the hebrew, the above verse has Liyliyth instead of owl. The hebrew word for owl is yanshuwph. The hebrew qabalists claim that the owl was inserted in the verse as a substitution for liyliyth to conceal her identity - the nite hag who roams the desert/wilderness. However, the owl was known as a symbol of lil'ith and ill'umination. You can find the owl on the back of the dollar bill in a web network. Here is a little owl. Take a look : Lilith's name and virtue is coded in the U.S. dollar. Are they trying to imply Lilith is the great Statue of Liberty in the wilderness called America ? Wouldn't it be weird if someone told you in a dream your name was in the dollar bill, what would you think ? What would lilith say ? hmmm... The U.S. dollar is replete with illuminated symbols.

It may be because she is a barren woman so out of jealousy she seeks to destroy the fruits of those who can bear children. Good diggins, why does Lilith try to snatch the souls of newborns. Is this myth.

then lilth by your definition must be a man because most men want women to abort their unborn so you also must be a lilith. It may be because she is a barren woman so out of jealousy she seeks to destroy the fruits of those who can bear children.

The anglicised word Lilith is cognate of the Arabic word Allat (mate of allah). The root of both Allat (she) and Allah (he) is the Aramic/Hebrew Layil, which means NIGHT (as in Eve-ning). In light of this, Layil or Lilith is the shadow (yin-infraconscious) aspect of Zakar (yang-ultraconscious) felt throughout movement and measurement (0/0 = undefined). It is apparent that Hawah is often associated with Neqabah because they are intrepreted in the feminine gender (the shadow hours). Moreover, the anglicised EVE comes directly from the Hebrew word Hawah (or more precisely Awa or Ava). Awa or Ava, which comes from the sanskrit Awi, is the female Ova, the plural of ovum (egg). Awa or Aw or Au means "Birth place" in Temarian discourse (metu neter). Moreover, Hawah or chawah is related to the Egiptian/Olmecan word Khu or Ku, which means Great Power, the magical body of psychic extinction (shadow, eve, lilith, layil). The Golden One of Atun Re (the strength of eagles)
