Personally I am VERY tired of the name lucifer because it appears NO WHERE in scripture. What I mean by that is the Ibry his name is Heylel ben Shekhar = Brilliant One son of the Moorning.. OOOPss sorry yall, wrong person. Musta had my Xtian cap on for a second. Because I was about to make out like the Proverb against the Melekh Babel (King of Babylon) and in Ykhezekel 28 are where he is taking up a Lamentation against the Melekh of Tzur (King of Tyre) are refering to the same person and they are not. forgive me.
Now leaving behind that stuff I said about Lucifer (which is all true by the way) I want to focus on the Priesthood of this Kerub M'shiakh (anointed Cherub) in Ykhezekel 28:13 speaks of the priestly adornments of this being. HOw do we know that this being was a priest? Let me get that out of the way first:
28:12 He was the seal of perfection/ perfect in beauty (another meaning is without blemish and you must be without defect to be a priest)
28:14 He was anointed. Only certain offices were anointed, King, Prophet, Seers, Officers within the temple and thats about it. But judging from the rest of this passage we can deduce which one he is.
He was allowed on the Holy Mountain, just as Moshe the Highest Most Priest was allowed in the Holy Mountain.
There is something that needs to be noted here, I have sort of a problem with this translation "You walked back and forth in the midst of fiery stones." That Part "Fiery Stones" has an alternate translation. In Ibry it's Eben E/Ish (esh or ish but the spelling is alef shin) this could either mean Flaming Embers or Mason Entity or Mason of Beings, which would mean he was the architect of mankind. We can talk about that later.
Ok it's almost dinner time so just one moor:
28:18 "you defiled your sancturaries by the multitude of your iniquities..."
Dayum, he had a sanctuary? Now he can tell what office he was anointed for. Not just this but further back in the chapter:
28:13 "You were in Eden, the garden of God Every precious stone your covering: the sardius, topaz, and diamond, Beryl, onyx and jasper, Saphhire, turquoise and emerald with gold."
NOtice something? Notice how you have 2 stones name then the word AND then a nother stone, then it starts again, there is a patter:
Sardius, Topaz and diamond
Beryl, onyx AND jasper
Sapphire, turquoise AND emerald
with gold means these stones were set in gold.
sounds like the stones were set in 3 rows of 3
Where else do we find Priests and stones mentioned?
VERY good girls and boys!!! thats right back in the book of shimot 28:15-21
Exd 28:15 And thou shalt make the breastplate of judgment with cunning work; after the work of the ephod thou shalt make it; [of] gold, [of] blue, and [of] purple, and [of] scarlet, and [of] fine twined linen, shalt thou make it.
Exd 28:16 Foursquare it shall be [being] doubled; a span [shall be] the length thereof, and a span [shall be] the breadth thereof.
Exd 28:17 And thou shalt set in it settings of stones, [even] four rows of stones: [the first] row [shall be] a sardius, a topaz, and a carbuncle: [this shall be] the first row.
Exd 28:18 And the second row [shall be] an emerald, a sapphire, and a diamond.
Exd 28:19 And the third row a ligure, an agate, and an amethyst.
Exd 28:20 And the fourth row a beryl, and an onyx, and a jasper: they shall be set in gold in their inclosings.
Exd 28:21 And the stones shall be with the names of the children of Israel, twelve, according to their names, [like] the engravings of a signet; every one with his name shall they be according to the twelve tribes.
Exd 28:22 And thou shalt make upon the breastplate chains at the ends [of] wreathen work [of] pure gold.
Notice the pattern: "sarius, a topaz, AND an emerald" well I be dog gone!!!
ok ok, no autographs please. But lets innerstand one thing about these stones: verse 21 is MOST important
28:21 "And the stones shall have the names of the sons of Ysrael, 12 according to their names, the engravings of a signet, each one with its own name; they shall be according to the 12 tribes."
This is the breastplate of the Levitical priesthood, which was a priesthood ONLY to the 12 tribes of the sons of Ya'aqob. So here in is a principle. Even though Efrayim and Ma'anesah were included in the tribes of Ysrael, their names were not....nevermind I am getting off track. the principle is if there were 8 tribes there would have been 8 stones, 4, 4 stones. See my point?
Now back to Kerub M'shiakh (incase you haven't noticed the word M'shiakh is Messiah) He had 9 stones set in gold. In fact his stones are present on the breastplace of the Levitical priest. Now, if the number of stones on your breastplace indicate the number of families, tribes, nations you are accountable for, then what tribes were the Kerub M'shiakh priest to? Thats a hard one that I dont have the ansaar to. But can we speculate?
What is the significance of the number 9 to us? Well first of all, Aharon was a man and priest over men. This Kerub was in the angelic ranks and spoken of as a King/Ruler of Tyre/Tzor. So does that mean he was priest over 9 nations? I'ont think so. He was head honcho in Eden the garden of God. Eden we remember from the beginning of earts creation. Listen to me think for a second. the number to me is significant because there are 9 KNOWN planets in our solar system. Some would argue against that, fine. But lets just say this K'rub M'shiakh is the Priest of Planets. And on every planet there is an embassy of sorts (Eden = the Garden of God) There is an embassador and Prime Minister (K'rub M'shiakh) and it is his job to set in order the spiritual administration of the planet and to train the primary inhabitants in the acceptable ways of the most high.
I will park my pen on that.
But let me tell you something. Later in this verse this SAME person is called a tree in the garden of God. Innerstand please that the TREES in Eden were VERY much different than that trees on the rest of the earth.
